Zhang should fight Joshua next, not Hrgovic

Boxers and fans alike pretend that Zhang doesn't exist. I doubt he will get the fight that he deserves.

I think the best fighter willing to face him will be Parker.

Second Zhang is WBO mandatory and Hrgovic is IBF mandatory.

Joshua is None of this belts owner now.

Anthony no "need" to fight with anybody. He is not champion who got to defend titlle.

 

Joshua already beat Zhang in the amateurs. He'd do the same to him today.

Zhang is a beast but a complete fighter like Joshua should have no problems dismantling him and taking his best weapon away.

 

Meh. Was a close fight except the knockdown. There were points where it looked like Zhang was the much more schooled fighter.

That was a different Zhang though. A skinnier amateur style Zhang that was trying that bouncy amateur southpaw style that's not very effective without the reach advantage. Now we have a much stronger, heavier, high guard Zhang that has some heavy counters, much different fighter.

 

Richard Dwyer has often called Hrgovic the heir apparent, and I believe him ~

Yes, but Zhang rejected the fight, claiming he was injured. I think he is just looking for a big big money match against AJ or so. He maybe banging on Fury/Usyk, but he had to wait a full year for them, so he may hope WBO to strip them, as they have rematch clause, so who knows.

 

I would like to see Hrgovic vs. Kabayel, Joshua should fight Zhang...

 

Any top promoter should be calling out Zhang to face their fighter. If you could get the Chinese government on board you would open up a whole new huge market. A fight with Zhang in Beijing would be huge for boxing.

 

Why then did Wallin deserve to fight Joshua and get embarrassed at the same time?

 

Zhang would be a great fight as is Hrgovic. The upside for me as a fan with Zhang would be that I'd like to see him against Joshua before he gets too ancient, but can't fault Joshua for going for a fight that has a belt at the end of it.

 

Zhang and Hrgović seem to have unfinished business. It would be bad if it stays that way, and time is working for Hrgović.
