Speaking as someone who works as an amateur judge, i got no problem with round 7 & 8 Tapales.

What is the rumored spring fight in negotiations he was talking about? Casimero? Nery?

See ? you just proved my point. Either I'm I hater or fanboy of Inoue. for guys like you there is no in between.

I say Inoue is very good fighter, but he should be much more impressive with this kind of opponents and all the boxing fans know that, it's just you try to be silent about it.

6/1 underdog landing many many shots on Inoue and nobody is talking about it. and if someone dare to talk about it. he is a hater.

Nery is banned from Boxing for life in Japan so it will most likely be in the US as Bobfather promised that Inoue will be back in US next year

Like the choices, not sure what I think about it as a combo.

So Inoue won every round, KO'd Tapales, but didn't look his usual dominant self?

From what I did see Tapales looked tough and game and a bit of a difficult style for Inoue but he didn't win any rounds. I was surprised when he went down from that right hand as it didn't look like it landed flush. It completely discombobulatized him though. That's what Monster power will do to you

Two time undisputed in just over a year

I didn’t catch the fight been catching up on Twitter highlights. What’s with Inoue standing in the pocket and not using head movement or much footwork to evade? This looks like the 115 Inoue, not the guy who fought Fulton. I would have preferred him to get hit less than I saw.

I do actually, because this is:

a.) a message board where we engage in discourse

b.) an absolutely silly thing to state/believe that promotes stupidity like, "Inoue isn't that good," or "Tapales is such a low-level bum!" and needs to be corrected on sight.

I tried to, but then a bitter little hater who apparently had money on an early Inoue stoppage against an iron-chinned southpaw Filipino got all salty and moist.

The real cultists are Inoue Haters like you who think every time he doesn't stop someone with the first punch he throws it's magically proof that he's not that good or slipping or some other silly ****. I remember when it took him 11 rounds to stop Paul Butler who was fighting negatively and to survive all night and you dorks came out en masse saying "See?! SEE?!" like it somehow meant something.

You had no idea how good Tapales was, what made him dangerous or credible, and why more than a few of us were really looking forward to this fight. So you just assumed bum so your weirdo hate cult could raise a silly, nonexistent point ("Man, Inoue got hit a lot by a skilled southpaw who stood and traded with him! Inoue no good?") and then got all defensive about it when it was pointed out how stupid that was.

Sorry Inoue being the pound-for-pound #1 in the world hurts you so, but here's the attention you ordered I guess.

Problem is that doesnt give any respect to the fact that a fighter like Tapales facing the biggest fight of his life went out there and did something extremely extraordinary. under the bright spotlight & moments of extreme special things happen.

Someone with decent footwork, good head movement and solid power.

This division is weak for any top boxer, why it's so hard to say that for you guys ?

Bivol don't have power and he is not running, his workrate is very good and he keeps on landing many shots on his opponents.

Loma don't have Beterbievs power and still he could drop and KO many guys, who were much bigger than him, why ?
