I have been thinking for a while now he is playing the long game.

After Fury and Usyk disappear a can scrape up a couple of belts.

Usyk is getting older and his style relies on mobility and reflexes which will age worse than AJs basic style. The second fight was way closer than the first, wouldn’t mind seeing a third if AJ can rack a couple of solid wins.

AJ's style and physicality would cause Fury more problems... And realistically there's a big gap between the three best (Usyk, Joshua and Fury if genuinely fit) and the rest of the division.

Against Fury or absolutely anyone else except Usyk, Joshua would have a very good chance.

Usyk 3 will never happen - there's nothing left for Usyk to prove, and he's at an age where it's not going to interest him... Besides, Usyk's a smart cookie - he's not going to risk the legacy of the first two fights and his health (and AJ is a genuinely murderous puncher) by taking a third fight.

Usyk & Fury are retiring next year

AJ needs to find a new hope to gain respect but will get chinned off by a big dog again like Zhang

AJ is not a physical fighter, he got manhandled by Usyk & Ruiz Jr for christs sake. Two tiny men.

He's a useless bum who will never get a shot at Fury.

AJ is physically strong enough that Fury wouldn't be able to ruin him as quickly by leaning on him... Not to mention that, unlike Wilder, he can punch hard at close range.

Whilst I don't think he's a useless bum (if not a natural fighter or enjoyable personality)... We at least agree he'll never get a shot at Fury - because Fury won't dare take it.

Besides, Fury will retire after Usyk beats him.

Yes, they will both retire after Usyk embarrasses Fury.

Usyk will have nothing left to prove and Fury will descend into another drugs fuelled depression at the prospect of a rematch he knows he couldn't win.

His only chance is if the undisputed didnt happen and Fury decided to face him.

Honestly I dont see other chances for him.

Eddie begging for Fury after fury does the job on Usyk will be funny.

But Usyk & Fury will walk out of boxing together hand in hand as the best men of their era showing the grace and humility champions should show.

What would be the point, Usyk already proved he is better. AJ getting a win in third fight simply because Usyk got old would prove nothing. You can't ''put right'' two losses to the same man with a single win when that guy is way past prime:risas3:

Usyk will be walking away as an undisputed champ.

Fury will be running away in the hopes of maintaining the illusion he was #2 to an ATG.

Calm down guy lol. Who else would you want to see Usyk fight if AJ keeps winning?
