BUT When the WBC ordered him to defend his suspect belt against GGG he baulked. He claimed he wasn't really a full 160 pound middleweight & he'd "won" his title at 155 limit. So he meekly handed back the bogus title & DUCKED Gennadiy Golovkin like a sissy. His cheerleaders can say what they want in his defense but he lost the support of many great Mexican fight fans , The Hispanics fighters & fans in the gym actually disowned him & gave him the name El Pollo Rojo lol. Foreman actually went the other way - avoided the better paying and also higher ranked white contender. That's about as clear definition wise as a duck get. He wasn't champ long enough for it to really become an issue and even if he had stayed champion, Frazier and Norton would have kept Quarry from contention.
