Leonard ducking Pryor despite the fact that Pryor's camp turned down two offers from Leonard and then finally accepting a third.

“Scareface?!” I think that’s what those blind dates must’ve been calling me all those years.

Genius idea - get me arrested so that I can finally get a hearing.

Hope it doesn’t backfire though, I might not like what “I” have to hear myself.

Merry Xmas to One and All. :)

Lol, good one. I didn’t even pick that up - the old brain “auto correct” must’ve kicked in.

Ginger Alvarez was bragging he was WBC World Middleweight Champion because he won it in a catchweight contest Not at 160 limit as the rules state. BUT When the WBC ordered him to defend his suspect belt against GGG he baulked. He claimed he wasn't really a full 160 pound middleweight & he'd "won" his title at 155 limit. So he meekly handed back the bogus title & DUCKED Gennadiy Golovkin like a sissy. His cheerleaders can say what they want in his defense but he lost the support of many great Mexican fight fans , The Hispanics fighters & fans in the gym actually disowned him & gave him the name El Pollo Rojo lol. Jose ,the veteran ex fighter said Us Mexicans are FIGHTERS!!! Not Cowards Canelo is not a real Mexican

    Yep.

    Nope.

ps. I didn’t use that month to back up my previous Quarry-Norton views by the way…they were just nicely situated in my office drawer. No, really. :D

Coming soon in 2024….The case for Larry Middleton.

    Right.
Canelo is even questioned and resisted in his own country.
He wouldn't even make the Top5 of ATG mexican boxers.

I heard that too. I also heard that is when he went to see the doctor who then advised him to retire. Of course I cannot confirm any of it.

Yes. But should be said that Spinks made ten times more money defending against Cooney and Holmes was chasing what he thought would be a record payday against Coetzee. I don't have it confirmed, but I suspect that Patterson also choose Harris because he was better money as a white contender. Sad state of affair, but money do talk.

Foreman actually went the other way - avoided the better paying and also higher ranked white contender. That's about as clear definition wise as a duck get. He wasn't champ long enough for it to really become an issue and even if he had stayed champion, Frazier and Norton would have kept Quarry from contention.
