Neither Usyk or Fury are noted punchers as it’s not part of there game, there both boxers that use there skill set and other attributes to defeat there opponents. Sugar Hill trying to make Fury into a puncher is taking away a big part of his game and for this reason like others on here have previously mentioned is not the right trainer for Fury imo.

Remind me again how the fight ended and who was the only fighter to stop Cunningham in 41 pro fights ?

Tyson "Belly" Fury had to resort to using illegal tactics against the smaller boxer. Pathetic.

Doesnt matter, he doesnt need it. Belly almost lost with Wallin destroyed by Joshua within 5 round.

I'd love to see Fury fight Usyk the way he fought Wilder in the 2nd fight- very aggressive and try to bully him with his size. That would be a fun fight to watch because Fury would have success but also would give Usyk openings with his shots. Remember, Usyk hurt Joshua a number of times in their 2 fights, and KO'd a much bigger fighter in Dubois. He could definitely hurt and stop Fury.

KO 44% Cunningham whose KO percentage at HW is obviously way lower than that given he's only stopped like 1 of his opponents at that weight in like 10 fights

    KO 29% Pajkic dropped Belly

KO 38% Firtha hurt Belly badly and very nearly dropped him

    KO 53% Wallin hurt Belly

Usyk stopped Dubois with a jab, the same Dubois who 330lb + Miller couldn't even wobble

    Usyk hurt AJ

He knocked the teak-tough Dave Allen out on his feet in the gym. Had him snoring standing up and Allen had no recollection of any of it and only came to after the spar had finished. Big punching giant Frazer Clarke couldn't hurt Allen anywhere near like that in Allen's previous fight a few months or so ago

Usyk hurt the teak-tough Chisora a bit too

Usyk has hurt and cracked better chins than Belly's. Belee dat

The thing with Uysk is he doesn’t just land one punch, he’ll hit you with a 3-4 punch combination. He may not hit hard enough to put Fury down with a single shot but the 2nd or third punch in a row could wobbled him.

Both Usyk & Fury lacking power for their relative size is why they became so good. Then Wilder the opposite horrible but one touch death power.

Both Usyk & Fury can buzz each other but only Fury can stop Usyk, if he fights a perfect game and roughs the hell out of Usyk, However Usyk knows avoiding Fury and moving on him is the primary goal and will allow him to make the distance.

The biggest concern for me is Fury not using his jab enough post Wilder 2. Usyk Fury early rounds is pretty much exclusively about the jab I think it may have forgone Fury now though.

Fury putting it on Usyk in their first presser tells me Fury knows he's lacking and is trying to make up for it with intimidation as he did in the 3rd Wilder bout knowing he wasn't on form. If you give Fury a crack he will split it open. If Fury becomes reserves and looks focused on fight we then all will be good. If he's still playing silly games then it's going to be a hard night.

It's true and it sucks. He's more talented than Fury but at 6'3", 220 lbs he won't be able to toss off a leaning, grabbing and clinching Fury the way Ngannou negated that tactic.

Usyk has to stay on the outside at all costs.

That's exactly how he tried to fight against Ngannou but it didn't work because Ngannou wasn't outweighed by 40 lbs and was stronger than Fury.

Which is why I don't believe the argument that Fury was "iIl prepared" for that fight. He fought Ngannou how he's fought everybody the last 5 years but got out bullied.

I think that's what we will see. Fury will try to use his size and weight to lean on Usyk.

He'll try to try to tire Usyk out by leaning, grabbing and mauling.

Usyk has to try to take that tactic away from Fury.

That tactic was not effective against oak tree like Ngannou but against smaller guys like Wilder, Cunningham and Usk it can be effective.

Fury will go to Usyk’s body that I know for sure.

Another thing I noticed in the Joshua fight is how Usyk would go over Joshua’s jab with his own jab and blocking/deflecting Joshua’s jab that way. I wonder if that tactic will work against Fury who is even taller with more range then Joshua.

I think the jab will be important for both in this fight.
