I think Opetaia would be a bit big for Bivol and would take care of business in a pretty lopsided fight.

Beterbiev beats him in my opinion. He won't keep Beterbiev off him.

Don't think he'd be able to keep Beterbiev off him.

I think his agility is too much for Beterbiev but let's hope the fight goes through

I see Beterbiev beating Bivol the same way he beat gvozdyk

I think a prime Beterbiev would’ve gotten the job done, probably why it never happened. I also think Opetaia would beat him based on styles, even if there was no size difference.

It seems people don't appreciate pure boxers unfortunately it's why powerpunchers get overhyped.

Bivol will be the underdog and them wrong

Take away Opetaia's power and he doesn't have the skills to compete. Size alone wouldn't be enough to beat Bivol. We saw that against Zurdo Ramirez.

You need the full bag of tricks to beat Bivol.

Bivol is great at managing distance, has fast hands, throws well in combination and has a solid tank.

I think beating him requires a great jab and a solid counter punch to nail him between volleys like Joe Smith. A great jab can offset Bivol and possibly force him to the ropes. Richards gave a good account of himself with a lanky jabbing performance

Also going to take great foot work to close distance and pin him down

I'm not sure who embodies these traits

Did you really just reference the triangle theory?:)

Canelo is no longer a persistent body puncher at all, and he is much smaller than Benavidez which changes everything in terms of range and getting to Bivol, but of course you knew that. Zurdo just sucks and I said that well before he ever fought Bivol.

Why? You sort of forgot to explain why its asinine that one of the best offensive fighters in the sport, who is bigger faster and more powerful than Bivol, will not possibly break him down. How will Bivol be able to deal with that fast lead right and jab coming at him followed by body shots digging to the body, when he does not have the power to keep David off him? Go watch the last 4 rounds of the craig richards fight and get back to me.
