Bivol signs his part of Undisputed contract

Like I've said all along, I don't think either Bivol or Beterbiev are the ducking type. OG Bob is on record shutting the fight down when there was a window for it to easily be made. Beterbiev unified against Gvozdyk in his 15th fight and 3rd defence of his title (Gvozdyk literally jumped into a unification match up with the murderous punching boogeyman in his 2nd defence) and he unified his third belt against Joe Smith Jr. in his 18th fight. The same Joe Smith Jr. who Bivol had already beaten.

Bivol has made 10 defences of his title and hasn't fought any unification match ups but he's not been earning near the amount a fighter of his talent and accomplishments deserves and neither has Beterbiev.

When you have a boring charismaless (both in and out of the ring) safety first UD merchant like Haney earning the same amount for beating an old shot way smaller inactive Linares in only his second fight at the world level as Beterbiev and Gvozdyk earned combined for facing prime versions of each other in a unification match up both of who big punchers with fan friendly or pleasing on the eye styles there's less incentive to make the fight.

Crawford and Spence earned a minimum of $25 mill a piece for facing each other but look at how long it took to get them in a ring with each other even though they both knew they would earn crazy money. Same goes for Floyd and Manny.

How much would Beterbiev and Bivol have earned for facing each other prior to the Saudis getting involved? A couple of mill max perhaps?

They still won't earn anywhere near what Spence and Crawford earned individually for facing each other for undisputed despite the fact both are a lot better than Spence and I wouldn't fancy Crawford's chances against a same size Beterbiev and Bivol and Crawford are of a similar level as each other.

Sure Bivol, like Haney is a UD merchant who some feel is boring too, but the big difference is he's small for the division, is fighting bigger or much bigger guys almost all the time, is aggressive, throws lots of punches, doesn't hold or run and he's fought a lot of very durable guys who either don't ever get stopped or dropped or very rarely do, and is fighting prime opponents for the most part

Whereas, conversely, Haney is a gigantic weight bully who is UD-ing old shot or well past prime leprechaun natural 126, 130 or 135 pounders he weighs between 2-4 divisions more than, has a big/huge reach advantage over, and he runs and holds like a female octopus on heat and can't put a dent in chinny old men half his size who have been stopped in like 10 of their combined 14 losses by fighters their own size, many of which back in their primes.

And he gets paid a fortune for stinking the joint out in Leprechaun Town and Care Home Central
