MBS is actually an improvement over what Saudi had before him from from his reforms allowing women to drive to many other changes he has brought. He might be a dictator who had Khashoggi murdered but so far as misogyny & religious extremism, he is much better than Saudi's previous rulers

All these cards are making a loss not a profit for the Saudi's, better they spend it on making Boxing fights happen instead of funding religious extremists as they were doing not so long ago

For Fury vs Ngannou they had the who & who of Boxing royalty, MMA stars, other celebrities. Just consider how much money they must have spent for all that vs how many PPV's that event brought back, clear money loss & part of their strategy of sportswashing. Its the same with every Boxing card they are putting on, would be surprised if even 1 of them turns a profit

I hear you, and definitely agree about sportswashing. I disagree that this regime is any different from their predecessors, but they would be head over heals to hear that. Their PR is just light years ahead of what it used to be. The sportswashing is working.

Do you have any legit source for the 25 million a piece claim for Crawford and Spence?

They’re good and all but it’s no way they made that much… right??

I could be wrong but all the reports I've seen and I've seen quite a few say it was at least that much

'Crawford and Spence reportedly earned at least $25 million apiece from the bout with Spence earning a slightly higher percentage of the purse despite his loss.'

I seen it been reported that they made that much I just don’t believe it, especially since both of their net worth is way below that.

Also, if they made $50m ($25m a piece) and they sold PPV for $55m it’s not enough money left for the promoters, production and everything else around the fight. Sure, they made money on the ticket sales but that’s usually not how it works. If they split $25m I believe it.

Nothing against you at all Serge, I just think it’s fantasy numbers that’s been reported.

Beterbiev is going to knock both of Smith's biceps off his arm, unlike Canelo who only managed one.

Then Beterbiev KO's Bivol. I'm 100% sure of that prediction. Absoultely.

Yeah, it could well be incorrect even though it's been reported to be that much by lots of different outlets. I know they lie about PPV sales too. Either way, both of them would've definitely walked away with way more than Beterbiev and Bivol would for their undisputed match up

I’m with you Frank, If smith fights like he did against that french guy not long ago then he will lose just like Joe smith jr did.
