    2024 tomorrow and the boxing schedule is looking a bit slim! Would of thought so more shows would of been announced by now, hopefully some are imminent- any rumours?

    So far we have (apologies if I've missed anything)

    Boxxer
    Jan 20th - Jones vs Mayer
    Feb 3rd - Buatsi vs Azeez, Adam Azim

    Matchroom
    Jan 27th - Lewis Crocker (next gen?)
    Feb 10th - Walker vs Pattinson (next gen?)

    Queensbury
    Feb 10th - Sheeraz vs Williams

    Outside Buatsi Azeez there isn't much worth getting a ticket and travelling for

    January is always a quiet month without much activity. We usually have to wait until February before anything happens.

    Happy New Year to everyone ! Take care tonight :)

    Let's hope 2024 will be a good boxing year with many worthy fights.

    Heard rumours of a Boxxer show end of Feb..

    Nice one! He's posted 'fight news soon' on his socials recently but although short notice i was half expecting it to be the undercard of Jonas Mayer as jack Cullen is defending his british title on the same show and thought they may use that as an opportunity to build a bit of 'beef'.

    Any idea where this show may be? Selfishly im hoping they put Simpson on undercard of a Tyler Denny Wolverhampton Halls show, that venue looks perfect for a boxing atmosphere and was absolutely rocking last time, I'd like to experience a fight night there

    He'll be at the Cullen vs Chelli night ringside as an observer and maybe some comms I'd expect.
    Rumours are it's Denny headlining or co with Ben Whittaker. AlSo heard its Birmingham. I'm guessing the resorts centre again.

    Good to hear, Boxxer seem to be getting a bit of a foothold in the Midlands area. I went to the Buatsi show at resorts world in May and was surprised it did so well, must of been 7 thousand plus in there so good to see they are going back.......makes a nice change not having to travel to London or Manchester for a show!

    I wonder if Frazer Clarke will get a run out on this card, he needs a big year in 2024 and to be as active as possible

    Don't worry, it will soon be annual subscription time on DAZN UK and Hearn will be stating 'trust us, we will offer unprecedented value for DAZN UK Subscribers' and 'none of our schedule is on Box Office.'

    Less than 3 months later he stuck Joshua v Whyte 2 on Box Office and only serial drug testing issues saved the public from wasting their money.

    The reality is that most cards are glorified nextgen and all fights above average interest will be additional Box Office Loot.

    Never subscribing again as a complete waste of £99.

    '.....but,but, this time it is unprecedented value koogs,honest'

    24th Jan - a card at Newforge sports complex (for anyone that has played Sunday league football or cricket, this venue is the equivalent to the clubhouses you drink in after,im not joking ,Google it)

    Feb 3rd -cosmopolitan hotel 'Chelsea function room' seating capacity 750

    Feb 24th - Carib Royal Hotel function room (same place massive future star Conor Benns last fight was held)

    Game changed indeed

    I was at that show too, hopefully this rumoured show will be as good if not better.
    Think Boxxer are gearing up for a far more structured & better quality year in 2024.
    They've got some headliners now and lads like Simpson, whitaker etc should go on to do headlining shows imo. Aziz sits somewhere in the middle.

    24th feb Denny and Whittaker at the Civic in wolves. Not official announced but have been told it is then.

    EBU website lists Denny-Cash but then says voluntary defence under it, so I'm assuming he'll be in with someone else? Not sure what the EBU's rules are on defences but there are loads of British fighters in the top 40 if he's allowed to pick from any of them (Udofia rematch maybe?).

    That would've made a lot of sense, seeing as that (or Chelli) is probably his next fight per the Board circular. Surprised he wasn't fighting Germaine Brown on Jonas-Mayer. Pretty sure they had that scheduled before and would seem a good step up against a domestic opponent.
