I think Canelo most likely stops him. Benavidez's high workrate could be used against him due to Canelo's counters, which are pretty meaty, and he would eventually get gun shy. You're not beating Canelo if you're gun shy. Unless Canelo really can't pull the trigger anymore, I see him stopping Benavidez.

I pick Benavidez to stop Canelo now. He looks hungry, raw, aggressive and I think he hates Canelo for being ducked for the last two years.

A number 1 contender being ducked for so long is quite rare but Benavidez is stopping real names in the division now to justify his ranking.

Canelo is shot now. His win over Small Charlo doesn't mean much, Charlo came to cash out and survive.

Benavidez is young, hungry, tough, and packs enough power to make Canelo think twice. Canelo's reflexes and gas tank aren't the same as they once were.

The only reason I'm not picking Benavidez to stop Canelo, and only picking a decision win, is because Canelo still has good enough defensive instincts to avoid being stopped.

But Benavidez will outland Canelo and do serious damage to him, the likes of which we haven't seen since the first 2 GGG fights.

 

Benavidez wins but not sure if its UD or late stoppage,in all probability Benavidez will be certainly looking for a stoppage win to remove the result from the Judges hands and also to make a statement. However this can only happen if the fight gets made which I’m not 100% sure it actually takes place,hopefully it does and the fight happens as it will be one of the biggest of 2024 .
