    Opetaia for me.

Younger, more enduring and a natural category for him.

As much as I like Beterbiev, this would look like Canelo vs Bivol.

Jai would box Beterbievs face off at Cruiser

Wow what a treat that would be.

I’d favour Beterbiev by late round stoppage. I think he’d potentially re break dudes jaw as well.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Jai got the UD either but I think Arturs pressure would just be too much and once he sees a wounded fighter he won’t let off the breaks until someone is knocked out or the ref jumps in

Not enough between them all that isn't negated by the size difference

If Bert was bigger he'd win given he gave Usyk hell for leather just touching him up. Bert hits silly hard.

Alwayus had Bivol to just about outpoint Bert but I'm now swaying maybe toward Bert to get a stoppage. He's going to hurt Bivol at times no doubt.

I think a younger Beterbiev might do it, but now Opetaia is getting into his prime and AB is out of his.

It would be 39 y/o Beterbiev vs 28 y/o Opetata

A prime Beterbiev vs Opetaia would be very interesting

Jai has the size advantage to swing it in his favour but Beterbiev is so much more proven amateur and pro and he fought up at HW against much bigger opponents in the amateurs with a lot of success, including scoring a lot of stoppages at the higher weight even though he was giving away a lot of weight and stoppages in the ams are much less common.

Also, he gave the much bigger Usyk a torrid time in their last 2 fights so there's no reason why he wouldn't be able to do the same against Jai.

I'm not saying he would or wouldn't win but anyone who thinks it wouldn't be super competitive even despite the size disparity is very wrong. Beterbiev's power and strength would definitely carry up to CW even weighing what he does now. Ordinarily that wouldn't be the case for LHWs but Beterbiev is freakishly strong and heavy handed.

Good to see a few still sleeping on Opetaia.

    He beats Beterbiev for fun.

If Beterbiev unifies against Bivol he should move up to CW.

    That would be a WAR.

Beterbiev is a killer. For those that haven't realised, rewatch his back catalog. Jai is a good fighter and I am a fan, but you can't dismiss Beterbiev's ability to destroy high quality opponents, e.g. the Nail, who was a much more highly regarded opponent than Opetaia.

Size matters. Age matters. But Artoor is a different kind of beast.

I watched Yarde tag Beterbiev, I think Opetai takes him out. A younger Beterbiev is a different story

If this ever happened it's only win-win for Beterbiev.

His legacy can only be enhanced by a victory and if he lost then so what? He was 40 years old and way past his physical prime.
