    Coetzer is worth 8
    Donald - 8
    Wallin - 12
    Cunningham - 10

Usyk going down in agonizing pain from that low blow should put into perspective what Bowe had to deal with against Golota.

He didn't take one shot , he took multiple and he didn't get time off to recover either. . Those low blows debilitated Bowe and thats exactly why Golota threw them.
Bowe was fighting in crippling pain ,but that never acknowledged. You hear non -stop crying about how Vitali couldn't continue against pillow puff , one week notice, Byrd. . By the same people who want to pretend Bowe was in the prime of his life and wasn't suffering from the same pain that had Usyk slumped on the canvas.

The reality is Bowe was breaking through against Golota and was going to smear him out. Nobody knew that better than Golota himself, hence the repeated combos to the nutsack.
The result was a quit job by Golota. . If one guy quit , the other legitimate wins. So those two Golota fights certainly count as wins for Bowe and good ones as well.
    Golota 1- 14
    Golota 2 - 15
True greats always take the rematch to overturn disputed results.

After some thinking, I'm going to change my pick. Bowe has the greater win between the two but outside of that, his resume is painfully thin. Holy was clearly sick and not himself in that third bout so I don't put as much stock in that win as others do. Fury's wins over Wlad and Wilder, are otherwise better than anything Bowe accomplished. As a matter of fact you could argue, Fury's dethroning of Wlad was even better than Bowe's win over Holy.

Much like Bowe trashing his belt to avoid Lewis.

Doubtful, I'd say. Holy's next to last fight before Bowe was getting badly rocked by Cooper and he didn't really impress against Foreman and Holmes. Wlad had hardly been touched for ages, hardly lost a round.

Right after Holy regained his title from Bowe, he'd lose to a LHW coming up.

I'll say it like this, I think there's people on Bowe's resume that beat everyone on Fury's resume.

I will say neither resume is a "golden age" resume...........

This is a bold statement IMO; whether I agree or not.

By "people" you mean Holyfield right? Surely you wouldn't favor any other Bowe victim over Wlad?

Wlad is well documented as being in a dark space with his suicidal wife at home alone with their new baby. One of his worst performances ever and he never got the chance to put that right. Meanwhile Fury was falling over his feet to fight Wilder and Chisora as many times as possible because they were both highly beatable.

Fury would have had mental elf problems if he'd had to fight Lewis ...

Yeah, and Holy fought the wrong fight the first time around and was sick the third. This can go around for a while.

The simple fact is that Wlad was viewed as the much more dominant champion, because he was.

And if we're talking choosing easy opponents, then Bowe doesn't come out well.

Have to say, lots of rose tinted glasses in this thread. Fury's resume isn't great and he's had a fairly protected career, but the same goes for Bowe.

I’m inclined to saying Bowe but it’s close. I’m fact I don’t see all that much between them.

I wouldn't say by a country mile but still would lean his way.

Holy x 3 (a couple versions of which were depleted)
Golota x2 (was getting his ass kicked in both fights)

And then we have a bunch of retreads on their last legs and never weres...

I think Golota would give Wlad hell (for a while) TBH, but I mainly was talking about Evander (young).
