    It makes me sad since I was a fan all throughout his title reign - but I think it's unlikely that Knockout will come back as the same fighter. 2 years out of the ring for - now - 33 years old veteran who was already struggling to make weight is likely to be career-killer. That's also at a stage where He was close to potential career defining fights, which could put him among the best Strawweights in history perhaps.

    I think that too, he is the only one who really beats Chayaphon Moonsri "Wanheng Menayothin".

    He is more technical and a better counter than Pradabsri.

    I think he should come back just to beat Erick Rosa, who is still far inferior. Now he's out of the game compared to the Shigeoka brothers or Oscar Collazo, Niyomtrong is like many Thai champions forgotten in the boxing world. But he has the longest reign as world champion currently reigning since 2016. And if he retires after the fight against Erick Rosa in Cambodia, he will be retired with 25 wins and 0 losses.
