I wonder what the gates for these fights look like. Are ticket prices extremely expensive since everyone there is loaded with money?

I hope he can make the other promoters utterly redundant and then take over.

Imagine, we get the big fights all year around and no politics getting in the way

Ngannou is naturally strong, AJ is strong because of heavy workouts and iron (not saying anything else, just for the record, okay !!).
Ngannou has muscles in his eyebrows without even trying.

Can't say I'm terribly surprised. When Hearn mentioned him as one of the opponents alongside Hrgovic and Zhang I figured this would be the one they went with. It's a bit less risky and carries a much bigger payday, plus AJ will prolly get less flack for it than Fury did since now Ngannou has the reputation as the guy who gave Fury a hard time and arguably beat him.

Not the fight I wanted, but I'll take it. Activity is activity, and I had my doubts about Ngannou's last fight and was pleasantly surprised, so maybe this will provide some fun action as well :ggg

I literally predicted this once that the only way Boxing could get a UFC model where the top guys have no choice but to fight the other top guys would be if the Saudi's got involved as they would be the only ones with enough money/willing to use said money. We're almost there.

As tough a life as AJ wants to say he had growing up in Watford, he wasn't digging sand mines in Cameroon like Ngannou was as a child.

Just having the balls doesn't make him a top heavyweight and why would a top heavyweight step into the octagon? These crossover fights happen because the big money is on boxing not mma.

How have you come to the conclusion Ngannou has the best shot resistance in boxing? Fury hardly gave him a Wilder like beating so he's not really shown us how well his chin stands up to a big hitter.

I like Ngannou he seems a likeable fella but I believe he gets hammered by AJ, Usyk, Zhang, Parker, Wilder, Hrgovic and a fit Fury.

There isn't much similarity to UFC's "model" because Saudi's don't control rank, titles, or have Boxers under exclusive contracts. UFC pays its guys peanuts while Saudi's offer money too good to turn down to make fights happen

Boxing already had an attempted UFC model in the 1950's when the US federal gov't filed a case against IBC of NY which attempted to monopolize Boxing & SCOTUS dissolved IBC citing anti trust laws

The UFC "model" would go against the Ali act for a start & as big as Saudi money is, it is nowhere close to controlling a global sport like Boxing which has dozens of independent long established promoters

To replicate what the UFC did the Saudi's would have to set up their own promotion which will buy up Top Rank, Matchroom, PBC, Teiken, Ohashi, Queensbury, Boxxer, K2 etc etc, & get the Ali act scrapped (if they hope to hold any events in the US) while manufacturing in house belts, eliminate sanctioning bodies, make their own in house rankings, & refuse any co-promotion

Yeah. It´s not even about that though, it is about genetics, Ngannou is much stronger, you can look at his muscles and they are different, they are real muscles.

Because he in his career not only took elbows from fury but in the UFC roundkicks into his face from top tier heavyweights without ever going down .

Disappointing but I'll still watch. Zhang vs Parker and Hrgovic vs Joyce/Dubois on the card maybe?

AJ doesn't like to get hit with left hooks. Bad things happen when he gets hit with a left hook. Ngannou has a mean left hook. Bad things can happen in this fight.
