If he knocks out AJ he needs to fight Fury again.

I would have liked to see Ngannou take on Jermaine Franklin or Helenius first to get more experience but **** it, at 37 years old, if BIG money is knocking on your door, take it.

Just because Fury embarrassed himself, it doesn't make Aj king Kong by fighting Ngannou

I pray he knocks the fragile bum out. He definitely has the power, let's hope he lands on that glass chin. I can't wait to see Aj do the chicken dance again and quit like he did vs Ruiz. That fight showed he is a front runner with no balls

Fury may have looked like a bum against Frank, but he isn't a quitter like Aj who quit vs a little obese guy lol

I think Frank is actually going to starch him lol

No this fight is garbage and I’m an AJ fan. It should’ve been the Zhang match and let that bum Wilder fight the mma fighter as the co main.

OP, you're knowledgeable about boxing and I appreciate how you make articulate posts in a second language, but your Fury obsession rivals Miniq's and distracts a little from the point of your posts sometimes.

Did Muay Thai's domination of boxing become complete when Khaosai Galaxy & Samart Payakaroon came into Boxing to become world champs

If Ngannou is boxing, he is a boxer

If he wanted to do MMA, he would be doing that right now

Instead him & Dana just killed the biggest MMA fight that can be made in Jones vs Ngannou with 1 of the sticking points being Ngannou being allowed to box

This is like Usyk suddenly deciding that he wanted to be in MMA & going to that sport & having MMA fights while relegating a fight against Fury to an impossibility, would that really be a win for the sport of Boxing?

If Ngannou wins so be it, it means Boxing would have gained another talented athlete while MMA would have lost one. Ngannou winning doesn't say anything about how Jones or any other MMA guy would do in Boxing just like old Mercer KO'ing Tim Sylvia in 11 seconds told us nothing about how some top Boxing HW would have done in MMA at the time, at the end of the day its 2 individual Boxers in the ring

Ngannou has better fundamentals than Wilder lol

He's the hardest puncher AJ has ever fought.

I dont hate this fight as much as I would have done 3 months ago. Ngannou has enough about him to make it competitive at least.

If this is true I hope Ngannou flattens AJ to really ruin boxings reputation.

Not fake, but he is a product of extreme work. Ngannou don’t need the same work, he is stronger naturally from birth.

I've got to see the first full 7 rounds of Fury-N'Gannou now. Only been able to catch really crap "highlights" until now.

I had Fury ahead by one point after seven rds. N'Gannou had great composure and is very quick on the draw for such a huge man, but he is still quite lacking in technique and it was Fury's flaws as much as anything else that made a fight of it. N'Gannou managed to take away Fury's jab for large parts just simply by countering with his left over Fury's constantly low right. Fury would have negated most of N'Gannou's fight plan just with proper hand placement. That's how overrated his technique is. Lack of basic fundamentals making the difference.

There were three things N'Gannou did well:

    1. Handling Fury's mauling tactics with his superior strength (no surprises there).
    2. Countering with a left hook over Fury's low right.
    3. Not biting on Fury's overt feints.

None of these things should be much of an issue against Joshua, and otherwise N'Gannou wasn't overly impressive over the seven rds I got to watch. So working behind the jab, keeping the right hand high and not taking unnecessary chances should get the job done fairly easily for Joshua.

Then hopefully on to Zhang, who is a much more complete fighter.
