Definitely not. But he poses different problems for Fury, so there's a chance if Fury is in a good place physically this time around and he isn't totally in decline that he can give a good fight. Here's to hoping. It would suck if this fight isn't interesting after so much build up. It all takes away the intrigue from a rematch. If it's a good fight the rematch will probably also be good.

I'm a big fan of Usyk and would be very pleased to see him go undisputed, however I would still like Fury vs Usyk to be a competitive fight and I do worry if Fury is just too far gone for that. There is no doubting Usyk is still near the top of his powers, but Fury given his poor showings against Wallin, Wilder III and Ngannou (as well as Whyte and Chisora, where he looked quite slow and ponderous against opponents who couldn't capitalise), one wonders whether it was a case of continually poor preparation or if Fury is shot. I for one would not be surprised is Usyk dominates and gets the KO.

Good post CST as always mate. I've been saying this for some time, my fear is whether Fury has the stones to actually follow through and risk his 0.

If he does then Usyk clowns him, Fury has looked very poor in his last three fights despite getting the nod, you can't abuse yourself over a long period of time ballooning in weight, abusing alcohol and substances expecting to beat an elite operator, that strategy will fall short in time.

Fury just scraped passed Wilder in the third fight, despite being dominant in the previous, let's face it Wilder over achieved and other than one shot power was never as good as people claimed. Whyte had been cracked several times and had no gameplan, was therefore there for a payday. Ngannou is a unit yet a complete novice, not a good look for someone claiming to be the GOAT.

Usyk spars 15 rounds for a laugh, Fury will handle that speed and agility less well than Joshua who despite his mental frailties has always shown up in shape, if it does happen and I really hope it does then Usyk bends Fury over and does whatever he wishes..the result being Fury with a drooling and gaping arsehole...

It's bold to claim utter domination and destruction.
Chances are it will be competitive either way, due to the ability and determination of each.

Problem with people using the mma fight as evidence against Fury is that that fighter is far bigger than Usyk and has real KO power, and Fury and his idiot coach took the fight like it was going to be a walk in the park. If anything, that performance will make Fury knuckle down and prepare far better and not underestimate Usyk, which should lead to a much better showing. It might actually work against Usyk because an easy night for Fury in the desert might have made him even lazier and more overconfident come the Usyk fight. Now he's got the fear of losing back in his head and will be far more serious.

Nobody has ever had an easy fight with Fury and I doubt Usyk will be the first. But if Usyk can destroy Fury, credit to him.

I personal dont think it will be soo easy for Oleksander but I favor him to win this 55-45 (maybe 60-40)

I always was angry on this "not focus and not prepare right" excuses ppl make when Tyson look worse.
It looks like Fury is only person who can look like total **** in his fight because he only give 100% at best fight when he is full motivated...

    Bull ****.

Tyson from long time now became to heavy and slow down much. That's really bad sing when You must step on the ring with soo quick and great engine boxer like Usyk who throw many punches just to open You and steal score.

Normalny Fury who got some problems just use his size and strenght to make fight dirty like vs Cunningham where he go on floor, being outboxed and cant come back to fight.

But Steve was glass jawed dude 2 levels under Usyk who not only got better skills but also is very hard to rock him.

For me scenario where Usyk in fight which define his whole carrer put on gas early and winning round by round being smarter, quicker and more talented boxer became in second half festival of fauls from desperate Fury who go forward and try everything is very possible.

But I think Usyk survive even with this version of Tyson. And its possible that today Fury is just too FAT and too slow to even be able find Usyk in that ring easy.

And one more. Question is how Luke Fury looks on training camp.
I wonder about this because its hard to belive that If he will looks bad on sparing he actually go to the ring with Usyk in February...

And Fury got many reasons to be depressed again. His whole carrer "scenario" crush last times. Ppl think he lost to MMA guy, Wilder which he advertised always as numero 2 and guy who destroy all others looks like bum vs Parker. And Joshua- guy who is reason a source of envy for years being better and better again.

Very interesting what's going on now in Tyson coke head. I bet he is nervous as hell.

If I was boxing on debut, I'd think knocking down the HW World Champion not once but twice, would be difficult. However, Ngannou made it look pathetically easy.

You Fury ball guzzlers are just talking at this point.

    Lost to McDermott
    Lost to drug testing
Lost to Francis ****ing Ngannou

I can't wait for 'the bodybuilder' to smash another one of Fury's 'toughest competitors' to bits. Some ATG the big dosser has become.

    Usyk is very lucky.

fighting two mediocre fighters to become undisputed, there is nobody of Briedes caliber who holds a belt at HW, or we could see a competitive fight

Wlad landed less on Fury than Wach/Povetkin did on him and was relieved of his titles at home in a humiliatingly one-sided schooling.

You can score it to Wlad if it makes you feel better though, just as you can pretend that Loma never lost or that Canelo's fights were fixed.

So while I do hope that CST is right and agree with most of what he says, I'd like to add a few caveats.

    1) Fury's evasive herky jerky, reach-heavy style is imho a hard out for Usyk. Granted he's gone all kronk lately which will make it easier for Usyk ... but the fact remains that he still knows how to box like that. Whether he can or will are a different story.
    2) Fury very much fights up or down to his opponent. I think he has major motivation problems. If he can somehow poke those dying embers into a fire, we may see a much better Fury than we saw disgrace himself against Ngannou and co.
    3) Fury is still a ****ing giant against a much smaller dude.

All that said, I think Usyk is going to win this but it's got the potential to be a torrid night out for him.

It was Fury who lost his temper and got mad, not Usyk.

He knows Usyk is better than him. I think he will invent an injury and withdraw from the fight.

Fury is accustomed to kissing the ground, thanks to his fragile chin. Usyk will probably turn on his gatling gun at some point in the 2nd half of the fight and fire bullets on his skull. This will be a knock out victory for the former undisputed cruiserweight champion.
