He's imploding because he knows that AJ is going to crumple Ngannou into origami and that he's going to look ultra bad when that happens.

Fury should be worried considering that **** show last time out.

AJ will take this fight seriously and show Fury how its done, hopefully setting up Fury AJ down the line.

It’s a real sign of the lack of balls in the division that instead of just fighting each other.

That AJ is going after fighters that Fury beat unconvincingly to try and score mythical points over him by beating them more convincingly. It started with Wallin and now we have the MMA lad following up.

    It’s pretty pathetic.

Both AJ and Fury are post prime as well. So whats the point lads. Should have fought each other 3-5 years ago and still haven’t.

The sponsors, promoters and TV companies continue to drop a bollock in boxing.

And if Usyk beats Fury then you will probably have Fury and AJ sitting in rocking chairs, staring at each other, dribbling and allegedly losing their marrbles again!

I'd rather see Usyk / Fury than AJ / Fury

Fury's state of mind going into the Usyk fight will be all over the place

He's going to be worried how his own reputation suffers if Joshua smashes Ngannou (a real possibility) as well as coming up with a plan to topple Usyk as well as juggle his social media responsibilities and rants.

Doesn't matter. AJ should be facing proven fighters at the top level, not someone who emerged the moral victor in a circus show.

It was about 18 months ago since he faced a top fighter. Last year was a rebuilding year, but he still signed with Whyte and Wallin. Not the biggest threats but no jokes either. He also had an agreed fight with Wilder which fell through when he lost.

Ngannou earned credit for his performance against Fury, but for us boxing fans this fight is a disappointment since Zhang/Hrgovic was clearly more interesting. But if he faces them later in the year, it will still have been a very good year. So let's wait and see.

But yes, to be the clear top contender he needs to beat both Hrgovic and Zhang, I think.
