Who was better? I would be tempted to say Khaokor's win over Sun-Kil Moon surpasses any single win on his brother's record, but considering Moon had only 9 Pro fights at the time (although he was exceptional with only a small number of fights, so this should be taken into account, beat Khaokor in only his 6th pro fight!)

Khaosai has the better power, but Khaokor is more well-rounded.

IMO I would say Khaosai, didn't fight Watanabe, but was dominant for a long time against lesser opponents, and unlike someone like Joe Calzaghe, didn't have the matinee names to fight to bolster his resume. Avenged his only loss.

I think Khaosai gets a lot of unessecary flak on here. He was full of heart, seriously heavy handed and got the job done against whoever was in front of him.

    What do you guys think?

More or less agree with you, except that Khaosai did fight in the best era so far for the division and had plenty of options for big fights.

Both had similar styles, with Khaosai the bigger puncher and Khakor, more durable, quicker and more well-rounded.Overall i'd say they were on a similar level, but i'd pick Khakor to beat his brother more often than not.

Khaokor didn't hve his brothers long reign, but he actually fought other top fighters in their prime. The Vazquez fight was debatable. He was coming on strong at the time of headbutt stoppage in the first Moon fight and completely dominated him in the rematch, but that win is somewhat tainted by Moon's trainer dying right before the fight.Moon was more or less a zombie that night.

I heard that Khaokor beat Sung Kil Moon when his trainer was very ill on the verge of death, which affected the South Korean a lot before he entered the ring. But I also learned that Khaokor suffered from epilepsy. Khaokor also has a worse defense than his brother Khaosai. Their levels remain close, Khaosai remains nevertheless better known in Thailand and it is also a better puncher, Khaokor to nevertheless met some of the best boxers of his era.

Khaokor boxed at bantamweight which was much more difficult than today. The two brothers are also controversial for changing rings in the final minutes before boxing in Thailand. I would say that they are two great boxers, I would have liked to know more about Sak Galaxy, the only one to have beaten Khaosai and which comes from the same training camp.

I vote for Khaokor who is the big brother of the two twins if I don't say anything stupid he was born a little earlier. In any case it is recognized as such in Thailand. I also vote for him because he is far too underestimated. Once again the best defense and punch level surely goes to Khaosai. But Khaokor had to face more health problems, I find it shameful that we give him no credit even if his career was short he took more risks.

Just out of interest. When you say they were controversial for changing rings in the final minutes before boxing what do you mean. Can’t be the size of the ring?

I'd say Khaosai is slightly greater, while agreeing the Moon win was miles better.

I'm much more confident in Khaokar head-to-head though. Not necessarily against his brother, but in general at BW. He simply proved himself more, which is crazy given the difference in title fights, but Khaosai essentially avoided all challenging fights during his reign.

But they wouldn’t have time. Dismantle one and and remove it and bring in another and install it. Not with prelims going on.

Was unaware of Khaokor suffering from epilepsy. Wonder if that's what happened against Luisito Espinoza?

A bit extreme if it did happen. Why not simply make life difficult for the challenger/outsider? Bad accommodation. Deliberate delays in arena entry. Dispute hand wraps. Etc etc. to change an entire ring seems such a pain in the butt to organise. Oh well. Anything to get one over your opponent.
