Could go either way but I like Ike a bit. Ike was probably a bit more powerful, and in the Tua fight he kept up a torrid pace. Definitely showed a hell of a chin. Povetkin had better mechanics. The two big X factors are... A) The size thing. Both of Ike's big wins were against undersized heavies, so how would he have done against someone he couldn't bully? and B) The PEDs thing. We will never know how much of Povetkin's near-greatess was manufactured. It would be another great barn-burner like the Tua fight.
Could be right but I don't remember that. Hmmmm. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/ibeabuchis-use-of-peds.595906/
Could be a barnburner because both these guys liked to fight in the pocket. Povetkin is faster, more skilled and with a better defence. Ibeabuchi is bigger, more powerful and probably has a better chin. Both of them have insane stamina at their highest level. I think that Povetkin would probably dodge more and land more ... but is that enough? I'll lean towards Povetkin on resume but Ike would give him a tough fight.
There was no testing especially for smaller fights back then. The first HW popping for PEDs that i remember was Botha against Schultz for a the IBF title in 95
