Joseph Parker has confirmed he is fighting on the Joshua-Ngannou undercard

EIther of those fights is fantastic. Joe is not messing about.

HW boxing has really cranked up recently. Its great.

 

So Parker can fight Hrgovic, but AJ can't.

This is embarrassing for AJ.

Yet another card where he should be facing on of the other guys on it and now there's a chance for it to over marinate it again.

 

Parker deserves a lot of respect for the resume he's racking up lately, the man will truly take on any comers. Never heard of him ducking a single soul.

 

Nothing embarrassing about earning a huge payday.
AJ will then fight the winner of Parker/Hrgovic for the IBF belt in the summer whilst we await the possible rematch between Fury/Uysk....as
whoever wins in their unified bout will likely be stripped of the IBF belt.
Decent times ahead in heavyweight division imo

 

I think Parker could maybe expose Zhang, Parker has a sturdy chin and enough boxing skills to extend Zhang into 2nd half of the fight and drown him in later rounds.

 

Parker will choose Zhang as his opponent, which is also logical considering that it is better from the business side.

 

I thought Zhang was signed to fight Wilder?

 

Tough fights that Parker can win if he is game

His biggest problem is he always shrinks against top dogs.

 

Yeah, Hrgovic could be more difficult for Parker.

But I'm hard pressed to see how Parker gets past Zhang either, tbh. I don't think he walks through the punches Hrgovic did.

 

AJ fighting Ngannou then for the vacant belt. Seems logical to me.

Let’s see if Hrgovic will role the dice vs Parker or if he will demand to fight Matt Skelton while he waits for his mandatory

 

Seems reasonable that neither he nor Zhang would want to risk a later date with AJ too much. Wilder would seem quite ideal for both since he's a big name but they probably feel very confident they can beat him.

 

We've heard AJ is going to step up 4 fights in a row. It's a bit boring now.

Hrgovic and Zhang are clearly available to fight on this card.
