I'd give the edge to Tim.....be a cracking fight while it lasts.

Same question I was thinking this would be a really good fire fight but if Ortiz takes it now he would most likely regret it as he needs to take his time after his massive health scare & get used to the weight as well.

We don't have enough information yet to gauge Vergil at JMW, and especially not against a top 5 JMW. Let's see him in a real fight (because Saturday was not that) against an actual JMW first (preferably someone top 10).

I think Ortiz is "probably" better than Tszyu but Tim has a resume at JMW behind him and Vergil doesn't yet, hard to pick against the known at a weight unless that unknown is truly dynamic. And Vergil is coming off health issues so his dynamic might not be so dynamic as it used to be.

Ortiz beats the breaks off him. Tim is slow and easy to hit.

Judging by your profile pic, I'd think you're talking about yourself.

You look old, slow, overweight, and your guard is worse than a taekwando '' expert ''

I guess that's what Harrison, Ocampo and Mendoza thought.

Substitute Timmy for Ortiz and Ortiz for Timmy and you're spot on.

Quit attacking people's looks based on their avatars, and quit being so goddamn salty about someone picking against your beloved, people are entitled to their opinions and to not agree with you without being insulted. Jesus Christ you Tim Tszyu fanboys are quickly becoming the most unbearable repellent posters on the site. So try calming the **** down or you'll get another time out, and no I wasn't the one who gave you your last one.

What's the matter princess did I hurt your feelings by picking against your favorite. You gotta toughen up girly boy because not everyone is gonna have the same opinion in life as you. The fact that you get so upset over something this trivial tells me your either a spoiled rotten 14 yr old or your an adult with severe mental issues. WTF

A lot of Americans are not used to seeing a guy from a small populated country like Australia destroying their fighters.
They like to down play his achievements all the while hoping that the next man is going to derail him.
Tim Tszyu has brought all the Aussie fans together he is our man and we will back him no matter what.

Vergil is a world better than Tim imo, but recent events might affect the outcome. Multiple health scares and almost two years of inactivity will show against a top player at 154. Vergil just needs to fight a guy that’ll actually give him rounds at this weight and then he’ll be ready.

They're not familiar with Aussie English and they're not familiar with Aussie fighters either.

Basically every hack with a US birth certificate will be favoured on here because some of these people are just plain ignorant.

Vergil Ortiz is just another guy with a padded CV. Who has he beaten? As of right now Ortiz is so vastly inferior to Tszyu that it is actually insulting that they even be mentioned in the same sentence.

If Ortiz and Tszyu fought tomorrow, Ortiz ends up with a career ending pounding. It's not a close fight.
