Who was the fighter that was plagued by the same darn injury everytime??

    We're all human, boxers are human, humans get injured in training and so on and so forth: most don't even make it into the ring without having something Ill or mis-tweaked.

    Anyway compile a list of fighters with concurrent injuries: I'll start, as this was very sad for me to witness,

    I watched Sergio Mora rip his Achilles heel TWICE the second of which was on a live tv bout. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the dude. His leg just went "pop". A disability can occur at anytime but why the heck right after rehabbing it, in a prizefight? He was wearing proper foot gear too/ his technique was flawless.

    Who do you think fits this mold? I'm awaiting to be educated about smoking Joe Frazier, I know deep down he was a dog, had bite in him. Meaning he had a whole slew of health problems but kept "smokin" with that lead left hook... Who else comes too mind? Pls n Ty.

    I think Spence might rank up high there with his 3rd eye operation.

    Honaroble mentions include:
    Pbfm jr (his hands were brittle)
    Margarito (again, the eye)
    Sergio Martinez (old man's knees)
    Fernando Vargas (terrible bad back which they didn't operate on, just left it to natural healing)
    And rest in peace Gatti, his face was definitely a bleeder.

    I read somewhere that Dempsey kept getting his lil weenie injured with std's which caused him to constantly be dehydrated...not sure if thats what you meant.

    Craig Bodzianowski lost a foot and part of his leg in a motorcycle accident. He continued boxing, and even challenged for the WBA cruiserweight title. According to his management team, he was a very positive person, so maybe it's wrong to say he was plagued by his injury.
