    Kinda feel for Davies here

After all that drama with Matchroom, he imo settled down eventually and became a humble person

Never understand why fighters jump back to their feet so quickly after a heavy knockdown instead of taking their time. Doing it once is bad enough but to do it on the second one beggars belief.

Just got caught square after missing with that lead right to the body, tremendous quick counter hook from Barroso.

Think that's probably it for OD in terms of world title pursuits.

My guess is his brain was fully scrambled and instinct cut in to get up. Second one brain is even more scrambled.

Never had a clear head. If it was just a light knockdown and still have senses he likely would have taken an 8 count.

He will get more opportunities at British and European level, though I think this is the end of the world title dream. Apparently he has invested his earnings smartly in property etc, so this may be a good time to call it a day.

    History repeats itself.

Gerald McClellan prior to the Nigel Benn fight was not medically safe to fight either, with an issue with his brain scan. Picked up in sparring by all accounts. He still went ahead and fought and the rest is history.

getting your brain rattled and having adrenaline coming out of your ears probably has something to do with it

seems like something that has to be drilled into a boxer, it goes against our natural instincts

How Golden boy even wasted time punting on this fella is beyond me. He was finished after Josh Taylor smacked him around.

Of all the fighters to have fought in Vegas , I 've not heard one complain about this before , however I don't think OD has ever made a secret of his alleged over use of casino's.
