    What would have happend if it was prime Delahoya in the ring with GGG instead of Kell brook back in 2016?

    Well it wouldn't be a prime ODLH at Middleweight would it ? ODLH looked flabby at the weight and didn't belong at Middleweight. He got a total gift vs Felix Sturm and was knocked out by Bernard Hopkins it's not a fair match up.

    DLH struggled badly against Sturm and lost to BHOP via body shot. GGG would wreck DLH, he wasn't a true MW.

    GGG early to mid rounds, would just overpower DLH.

    Came here to say this.............Prime MW De La Hoya doesn't exist. Golovkin would've stopped the Oscar Sturm fought..........

    I recently watched the Kell Brook vs Golovkin fight. I've always admired Brooks excellent skill, power, and grace as a huge world class welterweight. He did a great and admirable job vs GGG but ultimately he was run over and over powered. So that is why it had me wondering how another world class welterweight and junior middleweight in Oscar Delahoya would have fared. The one that not all that long ago was suggesting that maybe he might take GGG on. When GGG responded saying something like, he might take the opportunity to legally kill someone in the ring.

    Sturm ducked an 8 fight novice GGG but had no problems fighting ODLH. That should be your answer.

    Oscar fought everyone there was, win or lose, what makes you suggest he wouldn't go near GGG? I personally think Oscar has a good chance in this match up. It would certainly be GGG's toughest fight barring Canelo.
