I believe his effort against Foreman indicates that he would be a handful for those I named.

The question is not would Savarese give those you named problems it's whether he would give those I named problems?

I agree. The Savarese of that fight probably does. He'd clearly geared himself up for the bout.

It turned out to be a surprisingly competitive contest, with Savarese responding well to George's shots - both in terms of how he took them and in the way he was throwing back.

I think he could be a real handful for Zhang and Hrgovic.

My only question mark would be on the shape of the fight with Joshua. Would Savarese be able to close the distance on Joshua the way he did on a slowed up Foreman? It isn't beyond the realm of reason but, without keeping it in a phone booth, Joshua holds the advantage here, I would reckon.

We haven't seen enough of Zhang or Hrgovic to make a clear cut prediction.

But Joshua would knockout Savarese without too much trouble IMO, Izon and Grant didn't have much trouble beating Savarese quite comfortably.

Foreman at that time in his career wasn't stopping anyone and was close to 50 years old.

Saverese too slow and easy to hit, I think he gets KO'd by the bunch especially Zhang and Joshua

Disagree strongly. All would stop him, AJ and Zhang would do it in vicious fashion. Savarese had no defense and his chin was decent but not great

Schulz and Stewart did much better against younger and better version of Foreman.

    Losing to 48 y.o. fighter isn't a good achievement

Yeah I think people forget Foreman's only stoppage in the last 4 years of his career was vs Moorer who was chinny at Heavyweight even though he was a quality Heavyweight.

Average opponents like Crawford Grimsley who wouldn't even be a top 20 Heavyweight at that time was going the distance with Foreman. And what is Grimsley known for ? being KO'ed in 10 seconds by Jimmy Thunder, so it's not like Grimsley was some iron chinned contender.

People are over estimating Savarese's performance against a near 50 year old who only had 1 stoppage in 4 years.

David Izon who was a solid contender but nothing else showed Savarese his level, as did Grant who beat Saverese comfortably.

People like to discredit Joshua but hes a world class puncher, and he certainly throws quicker better combinations than an old slow plodding near 50 year old George Foreman.

Michael Grant beat the exact same guy who Foreman did, maybe a better version.

And so did David Izon who was never really considered a top 10 HW
