Wlad wouldn't have to worry about power and would be more aggressive. So he would likely win. Be a lot like Haye.
Id favor Wladimir Klitschko in a close 7-5 kind of fight. I think Wladimir's height and straight punches would neutralize some of Usyk's movement. Klitschko has really good footwork as well. Think he builds up a big enough lead and hangs on as Usyk makes a push late. Usyk not being a huge puncher hurts him here. Would be an interesting fight but Im not sure it would have been the most exciting.
I used to think: Wlad beats Usyk, Usyk beats Vitali, Vitali beats Wlad But I've changed my mind, I think Usyk beats both Klitschko brothers.
He should have been disqualified in the Povetkin fight. Povetkin was a quality operator with an excellent amateur pedigree too.. & Wlad couldn't cope. That performance was embarrassing. Let's also not forget that the Klits stacked the cards in various ways including ring canvas ****ery... the moment somebody called em out on it they lost.. & he never liked fighting outside of his comfort zone too , look at the times he fought in America.. looked terrible mostly.. barely scraped by Jennings.. that was a 7-5 fight & Jennings is ****! Usyk thrives under adverse circumstances.. Wlad shits his pants.
Of all the top heavies, Wlad is most/best tested against southpaws. It wouldn't be about the stance, whoever wins, I don't think. It would be that Usyk is slightly taller and significantly busier and more durable and gutsy than Haye but shares the type of smaller man's head movement and maneuverability, without the explosive stopping power. This going to be messy and Wlad is going to be using head-control-to-foul tactics and trying to send Usyk to a chiro for the rest of his life if the ref let's him. How well that will work, I don't know. I'm not sure what would happen. Whatever it is, I'm assuming it'll be frustrating to watch.
You do realize that Povetkin caused a lot of those clashes by charging in with his head down into Klitschko's chest. And in the second half of the fight Povetkin starts initiating holds.
Changed previous vote Wlad would look lost in there with usyk who would take his soul in the championship rounds
I think now Usyk might stop him. He has hurt Joshua and Fury in their fights and Wlad has suspect chin. If it goes to the cards, Wlad wins.
