If AJ loses to Ngannou I will literally eat my own shoe.

The Bodybuilder will show The Belly how to deal with a UFC boxing novice.

It's very, very likely that AJ will beat Ngannou - he'll get hit, but his chin is pretty decent (his heart is the questionable bit, not his chin)... And unlike Fury, Joshua can actually test Francis chin.

Then when Usyk beats Fury in dominant fashion, Fury might have no choice but to fight AJ to try and recover his status as the #2 fighter in the division... And he might not even win that fight, either.

Ngannou does not have the boxing skills nor experience to beat a decent, physically-fit heavyweight like Joshua.

The pot-bellied, drug-abusing PED cheater he beat in his last fight (and was robbed) was not really a top heavyweight. "Belly" was a disgrace to the sport of boxing, he looked like a alcoholic on skid row.

AJ will perform much better than Fury.

He's not a lazy fat slob like Fury. AJ actually takes boxing seriously.

Boxing on close to even terms with Fury and hurting him in his first boxing match is bad news for Joshua. He will be able to land on Joshua and with his power it’s a big problem. He will come into the fight a little more refined than he was with Fury also.

Poor Miniq. I guess I should applaud your consistency. No matter how misguided.

I just don't see it. While I completely understand that Ngannou is a high level MMA fighter - and has trained boxing in the past (I am a UFC fan) - I still think the Fury fight flattered him... a combination of Fury being very poor and Francis being much better than expected. AJ will do his homework, physically and mentally, in a way that Tyson did not (and it's credit to Ngannou that he is being taken so seriously). I think AJ stops him late, fairly comfortably tbh

Joshua will run like with Ruiz II imo. He know If Ngannou counters him he is over. Besides Ngannous chin is better than Bodybuilders.

Fury won 8/10 rounds without training and looking a sack of chit.
Ngannou is gonna look like a fool in there with AJ.

Yeah exactly. If a fat alcoholic drug abuser looks like he belongs on skid row can win 6-7 rounds against Ngannou then Joshua has nothing to worry about. If he paces himself and stays measured he will stop Ngannou in convincing fashion.

Would the Ruiz (6', 74 inch reach) who beat Joshua have beaten the Fury who beat (6'4, 83 inch reach) Ngannou? I'm not confident.

I'm also not confident that Joshua recovers from an Ngannou 3rd round counter left hook to the temple that puts him down as we saw him fail in that exact situation against Ruiz.

Main reason i'm so happy with this fight happening next. People on here were going nuts after the Fury - Ngannou fight. Some were overhyping Ngannou, just for the heck of it, and others trying to safe face for Fury.
This thread is pure gold. Can't wait to bump it after AJ stops him in 6.

AJ's got gym made muscles, Ngannou's comes from 10 hours a day at the sand mines.

So the expectation is that Joshua get stopped, if not outboxed.

Okay, so when he beats the **** out of Ngannou, you’ll all admit that Fury is a fraud (who also got dropped twice by Ngannou  )
