It would be one of your emotional mental gymnastics eyes closed dart throw picks. Of course he has an outside chance. I gave him a 10-20% chance in one of the threads about the fight. But I think Beterbiev even if he's getting a bit old is still all wrong for him. I give him a slightly better chance than Bivol because he can actually punch some whereas Bivol can't crack an egg.

Ah come on Beterbiev is a war beast, and never stops trying to break his opponent up and hes vulnerable, so its edgy. Obviously he hasnt got the clean boxing and skills and horrid 1 punch power of Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev that came before, but hes not a boring defensive featherfist with zero aggression. His destruction of Gvozdyk was very underated, knowing how good Gvozdyk is. I wouldnt class him as my favourite fighter but he is entertaining and seems like a decent enough person. Would you rather he was a mouthy rat like edwards or haney.

Completely agree, I wanna see Bivol-Beterbiev most but I think he becomes Undisputed by a pretty comfortable margin regardless of who wins tonight.

On the topic of a potential Opetaia-Bivol fight, am I imagining things or was that discussed as a potential fight for later in the year? Or was it just one of those deals where someone suggested it and both guys said "I could see it happening"? Might be completely misremembering, never can discount that possibility

 

doubt it happens unless jai pick up 2 or 3 of the cw belts tbh but once bivol wins all 4 175 belts theres noting to keep him there unless canelo wants rematch finally

 

Beterbiev and his team are pretty furious with Eddie Hearn and the Smith brothers.

If Beterbiev steps on the gas I am expecting him to finish it quickly.
