Why do people throw around the term rent-free when someone calls out a boxer for who they are. And Canelo is a ducker pure and simple. He doesn't want any part of the Benavidez fight. That's unfortunate for someone, who says that they are willing to fight all corners, to just be ducking somebody who, almost the entire world, wants to see him fight.

By the way, judging by your profile pic, it seems Manny Pacquiao lives rent-free inside your dome as well.

We'll find out soon enough if he wants any part of Benavidez. But to say Canelo's a ducker given the amount of top names he's fought is just absurd. Canelo's fought a who's who in boxing over the last decade +. He's proven himself against the best fighters out there, and he's not done. Lets see if he fights Benavidez this year, if he doesn't fight Benavidez this year, then maybe he doesn't want any part of that fight, but to make that conclusion right now is premature. Benavidez beating Plant and Andrade put him in position to challenge for the titles, now lets see what happens.

Canelo is a ducked because why?? Lol because he hasn't fought Benavidez, YET??

Wait, don't tell me, you probably think he's against him? hahahaha...

As far as my Avatar, that's one of my favorite fights, I am a huge Marquez fan.

I know that Canelo has fought a who's who lost of names, but I am quite surprised at his seeming unwillingness to make the Benavidez fight. I think Canelo will fight him eventually but I'm fairly sure that if he thought it was a straightforward fight to win, it would have already happened.

I would have picked Canelo without hesitation but I'm having second thoughts - is Canelo's heart still in it 100% and is he willing to put the hard yards in? He might still be able to beat Benavidez but he needs to take him (very) seriously.

I gotta say, i really like both Bivol and Beterbiev. I picked Bivol to handily beat Canelo and thats what happend. He's famous for that. That being said, i favor Beterbiev to beat Bivol because i think Beterbiev will match Bivol in size, strength, and skill, but AB will be too powerful and destructive for Bivol. The man has almost super human power.

Bivol has a chance of boring Beterbiev to sleep boxing his usual style

If Beterbiev doesn't fall asleep I think he should beat Bivol

I'd still pick Beterbiev to win by KO, but I saw chinks in the amount last night...

A purer boxer gives AB problems. Constant lateral movement equipped with a slight leaned back + dipped stance, an off-centre head placement & head movement, and smooth 1-2s with the occasional 3,4 combos would cause AB problems. An off rhythm jab/lead hand, right uppercuts and a lead hook were punches Smith was landing well - I'd argue they're key to victory.

The only thing is, Bivol isn't really that much of a mover - not in the way SRL could (Aka dancing while throwing). Bivol likes to contest the centre ring, be swiftly in and out of range by a matter of inches (relies on distance management), and operates on a counterpunching rhythm. I don't think this style deters AB - Bivol hasn't enough pop.

AB didn't really get out of 1st or 2nd gear last night, and he can take a shot and recover well (he's robust & sturdy) and loves to push the action. All the while, Bivol hasn't really got out of 1st or 2nd gear himself tbqh so there's an element of mystery with what bivol is really capable of.

Still, AB by late KO, I'd say rds 7-11.

Really not sure.. the match up is that good... Bivol looked boring & in first gear his last fight .. but that's probably down to a lower level opponent.. I'm edging to a Beterbiev close UD

Beterbiev got his first Title in 2017 and then had the ambition to seek out the other Champions in the division for there belts and has also fought four mandatory defences .Bivol won his Title also in 2017 and has made one single mandatory defence. Hopefully the Beterbiev v Bivol fight happens and Bivol steps up to fight a fellow LHW Champion for the first time .

Beterbiev round 11 TKO. Anywhere from rounds 9-12 are likely

I think Bivol wins this fight, better defensively, uses his jab well, controls range well, isn’t afraid to make it a stinker in order to execute his game plan.

I think this thing goes past 9 1/2 rounds and a 70% change get a late TKO from AB on Bivol

I think Canelo will chase another belt or big viewers over most things next two fights
