Yeah they kept saying he's gotta keep him in the center of the ring, I'm like what center lol. 2 steps and he's on the ropes.

Doesn't matter. Bivol has zero power. Nothing to keep Beterbiev honest.

He better not. I can't help but feel like Mundo got short changed with this baby's crib of a ring. Talk about fighting in a phone booth, the last person you wanna be in a phone booth with is Artur, and especially when your a freakishly tall dude.

He can use his legs and Jab more effectively without his back hitting the ropes every step backwards he takes, and that's an important key to victory for him.

I agree, but I'd still like to see that fight. He fought a shell of Kovalev so he might consider it.

I think he'll win the early rounds, but eventually Beterbiev will cut and break him down. Too much power with enough ring IQ to crack the Bivol riddle.

Could happen, but I wouldn't count Bivol out. He might be able to nullify Beters aggression with a well timed jab. Let's hope we get to see it this year though. No more waiting.

No doubt. Pretty much going to boycott LHW if this doesn't happen next.

I’m not sure how this one goes but it’s worth remembering how masterful bivol is at cutting the ring off and keeping you where he wants you.
I think he might actually be the best current fighter in that respect.
And his chin is right up there.
It sounds like it’s a way off though, promotors normally say the fight is signed when it’s a mile off and arum is saying it’s not even close. There’s going to be a pile of bodies behind both of them before we see this one

People will all put this on Smith, but "Buddy'' again showing why he is a terrible trainer, just another 'brand'.
First he takes away Kovalev's RH.
Now he has the gangly tall fighter exchanging with Beterbiev at close range.
    You can't make this up.

How is Beterbiev winning the jab contest so easily with a massive reach disadvantage? Why is Smith always in range to be clubbed in the head with compact punches from a short fighter?
You could see during the exchanges Smith's accuracy was poor with his long arms compared to the short fighter. Obviously.
How is Smith going to have a chance exchanging close with someone who has shorter and quicker arms and big power?

They should have at least tried to keep some distance and maybe catch him coming in. Maybe you still lose, but it might actually give Smith a shot instead of trying to duck and weave up close as his defence like he's his brother's size and trying to land a haymaker that never connects.
