Should IBF break their rules and give IBF belt?

The guy that arguably beat your boy will be the easiest fight he can get away with even after increasing his competitive boxing experience with 100%? Fury must be pretty shite then.

It’s a cash grab by IBF. If 3 beats 2 he goes above him, simple as that.

The IBF have looked after Joshua in the past,he can’t have everything his own way no matter how hard Hearn may try to make it so . It’s more than likely that Hearn has p*ssed the IBF off trying to push for the Hrgovic v Joshua fight even before the Undisputed fight has taken place .

Im not saying he hasn’t, the stars always get special treatment. My point is it is ludicrous you now have to pay a sanctioning body money to allow 2 to fight 3 and for it not to aid the winner of the fight

    Yes

Ideally, had J-Park not sprung the upset against The Dosser, E-Hearn wanted AJ vs Hrgovic next for the vacant IBF title but the pressure for AJ vs The Dosser to finally be made was too much and it put him and AJ in a position where they would lose face if they didn't go through with it. Hence why he was happy when J-Park threw a spanner in the works.

AJ vs Ngannou is a much less risky fight for AJ than Hrgovic and the fact E-Hearn is on record after Belly vs Ngannou saying that the later could lose to anyone in the top 100 confirms that E-Hearn feels that way too. But it's more lucrative and it also affords AJ another opportunity to one up on Belly again and exert more pressure upon Belly to face AJ should he defeat Usyk.

Hrgovic is a risky fight but it was the quickest route for AJ to regain his world champion status and if the vacant belt was on the line it's a risk E-Hearn is willing to take. He could've just made the fight and AJ may well have been elevated to the champion after Usyk vs Belly or at worst taken Hrgovic's #1 spot but he opted for Ngannou instead

I actually think AJ vs Hrgovic would've been a big fight in its own right because AJ is a huge name and draw no matter who he fights and Hrgovic is a big, strong, stoic and intimidating hard punching iron-jawed Eastern European like Vitali was and obviously undefeated too and AJ is also a big, strong hard punching giant and he's ripped with muscles so they could easily have marketed that one to the casuals and there is already interest among the hard cores in seeing it.

But it seems the IBF have it in for E-Hearn after he took shots at them in public. Also, AJ is on record saying ''the belts don't mean poop'' and he hurled Usyk's belts out of the ring on a huge stage over in Saudi so he hasn't done himself any favours either.

But Hrgovic vs J-Park is the fight to be made now and I hope the IBF belt is on the line and then the winner can defend against AJ.

Disagree on the money. Hrgovic will sell well, if it's a title fight, but without the title, this won't be a "blockbuster". It won't do bad, but won't do good or great.

And the news comes for the money AJ and Ngannou will take. Ngannou will earn 20m., twice as much to what he earned vs Fury, and AJ purse will be 50m.
He would have probably earn 3x time less vs Hrgovic and most probably without the title being on the line.
And Hrgovic fight is still there for the summer. This was no brainer.

And again we can't compare it to Fury, cause Fury was a Champion, inactive, and was coming from a Chisora bout. And he literally took a whole year off, and the whole division was put on a stop, because of him.
Also Ngannou just beat Fury in most peoples eyes, that's why it's a good fight for AJ. Also to shut some fans mouth.

Gotta disagree here. Everyone was rightfully slagging Fury off for taking the fight including both AJ and Eddie. Just because Fury looked awful against a novice doesn't justify AJ fighting him.

End of the day he should be fighting either Hrgovic or Wilder, because either of them are better for the fans.

I was just waiting for official confirmation.

Both Wilder and Hrgovic is a ****. Hrgovic is waiting for his IBF shot, and Wilder just ducked the Zhang fight.

Wilder lost every single round against Parker. No one's going to make the AJ fight.
He had his chance, as it's now officially confirmed that Wilder ducked Zhang. Zhang sign the contract, Wilder ducked, and they offered the fight to Parker and he took it.
Hrgovic has big mouth as well, nothing else. He is the next Wilder.

Last opponent De Mori, and is now not in the card for obvious reason.
