Joe Parker vs Zhilei Zhang: who will win?

I go with Zhang by KO but its safer option for Parker than Hrgovic (probably that's why he aim at Zhang not Filip)

Zhang got not best stamina and throw less punches than Filip. That's chance to build point advantage for Joseph.
But...
End of the day Zhang is big, strong iron chin puncher with probably second best power of punch soo if he catches Joseph it can be bad.
He also got more weapon than Wilder. Both hands can heart You.

More close fight than one with Hrgovic but still think Zhilei is favorite.

Zhang probably means more money with the China audience. But I agree that Hrgovic is a more difficult match-up for Parker.

 

Parker decision I hate to say it

 

Zhang is technically no worse than Parker. It will only be a matter of time when Zhang will catch him and put him to sleep...

 

Parker has a good chin, much better gas tank, and can be defensively sound when he needs to be. A Parker win isn’t out of the question here.

I'm gonna say Zhang by knockout, rounds 5-7 if I had to guess.

Credit to Parker, the man executed a game plan against Wilder perfectly, but it's gonna be a lot harder doing anything like that against Zhang. Dude's got deceptively fast hands, power in both and a whole hell of a lot more in his arsenal. Plus he's a southpaw, which always complicates things, especially since the last time Parker fought one was damn near a decade ago, and he was journeyman level. I could see Parker edging a points win if he snags a couple of early rounds and lasts til Zhang tires out around the 8th or 9th. Not impossible, but it's quite the ask, and it's gonna be a hell of a test for that chin, that's for sure.

Regardless of the outcome though, glad to see both of these guys keeping the momentum going. Great fight, and one that has the potential of stealing the show

 

Zhang by stoppage but it's certainly possible that Parker out hustles him and wins a close decision.

 

How can you give Parker any chance after being brutalized by Joyce and that same Joyce could not touch Zhang and Zhang showed great defensiveness, Zhang will crush Parker with ease...

Because styles make fights and just because fighter A beats fighter B and fighter B beats fighter C doesn’t mean fighter C can’t beat fighter A. Have you learnt nothing watching boxing? Particularly heavyweights. I’m not even picking Parker but your comment is stupid

 

If Zhang is to win, he's going to have to stop Parker as over 12 rounds I think Parker would simply be too busy and bag too many rounds just on work rate.

Not an easy fight for either man. Zhang's a huge puncher, but question is can Zhang land a KO punch. Joyce is very easy to hit, Hrgovic too isn't exactly elusive, while Parker has much better head and body movement than both of them and so will not be as easy a target to land on.

But Parker does struggle with counter punchers and Zhang is adept in that area. Parker tends to struggle to mount much offence when he's getting countered as his style relies on him getting off first and he can't do that as often as he'd like if he's taking shots back when doing it.

I'm leaning towards Parker. Zhang will no doubt have his moments, landing big punches now and again and giving Parker some really dangerous moments. But I think Parker knows he just needs to be patient and wait til Zhang tires in the 2nd half and that's when he can pull away on the scorecards to win a close competitive fight.
