No. Scoring a round is based on those 4 factors not just punches landed. We arent discussing this - youre just wrong.
I just watched it count two punches for Golovkin in the first round that hit Canelos glove when he blocked it hahahaha
Watch the first round from when the GGG punches landed goes from 3 to 5, i just paused it there as some other guys posted AI videos before of other fights & they seem to be all over the place, CompuBox counting weak tap jabs in general over hard punches that shake or stun you for a moment is a joke in itself.
I think you are looking at the wrong stats. You are looking at thrown punches. As it never goes from 3 to 5. There was quite a pause between the 4 and the 5 landed punch for GGG. And both punches were 100% clean. I was not sure about the 5 punch, but on a 0.25 speed, it's clear as day, as Canelo head snapped back, and the punch landed on Canelo forehead. For anyone wondering, 0.25 speed, second punch that was given as 5 landed can be seen clear on 0.25 speed: This content is protected Also there is a huge difference in the AI 1 years ago, compare to AI of now. And this specific AI system has like 5 fights in total. So don't know what you have watched that is inaccurate. This is million times better than the compubox, and the most reliable thing to counting punches. It has no bias, so even if it has some error, that error will be evenly distributed to both.
Also just to confirm something, this ain't my system, i'm not doing any AI work, and was wondering how AI scored the Loma - Haney. And found this one.
I agree with you about it being more efficient than the corrupt CompuBox unless of course it's your choice of fighter that compubox has favored on the given night then all statements are retracted & it's a great & accruate system once more haha.
If these guys post those matches they will be taken off by copy right or youtube in general it always happens, i missed a few good boxing highlights of sparring, etc as they are now nowhere to be found.
The decision was razor thin. No robbery but felt harsh to give it against Golovkin after the first 1. I put it in that Leonard-Hagler Bowe-Holy 2 razor thin category.
No fight is razor thin, when Fighter A outpunch you in every single category, land 150 more punches, threw 300 more, and literally beats you in every single given category. This ain't bias, this is a 100% unbiased system that is doing the scoring.
Compubox is just terrible. 2 people clicking 2 buttons. The error factor is huge, and it's highly inaccurate. And yeah there is always the bias factor with humans doing the count.
