Did he say that? Not really for him to decide, though. The IBF will probably be decided by a fight between Hrgovic and someone else and the WBO will demand a defence against Zhang, if he beats Parker. So at most it will be for the WBC and WBA belts, but that's if the winner of Usyk-Fury doesn't retire. A big if.

    What a joke...
What reason Filip would have to duck Parker fight? This logic make me sick.
    1. He will be favorite- probably 80% of ppl would said he win. In best for Parker it is 50/50 fight...
    2. Best money in his entire life.
    3. As ppl who said he duck himself he can wait for titlle fight another years...
    4. He accept it in moment that he hear rumor that they think about that matchup...

There is no logical explain for thinking that Hrgovic is the one who ducked here.
There is plenty logical argument that Parker got opportunity to take other easier fight and he do IT...

Pls. Start thinking logical way ...

I wouldn't say Hrgovic ducked Parker perse, but fighting DeMori? Hrgovic has an awful team if they can't even get Chisora in there with him.

Nqh buddy i started to talk about duck to counter your silly argument that Parker somehow ducked Hrgovic, and the whole HW division was scared of Hrgobic, when everyone knew that Hrgovic is a no name and bring nothing to the table.

Your point about the mandatory could have been valid if there was just 1 title, but there is 4, and mandatory took years to make. So that means very little, especially when you had to settle for 40% of a Hrgovic purse. :D

And you are still talking how Parker ducked the Hrgovic fight, even though it's very well documented that he never ducks a fight, and he never ducked that fight. Having a legitimacy injury is not a duck. Don't make me laugh with the medical paper. Parker took almost a whole year off, due to the injury. And everyone following him knowing he had elbows problem through his career.
Again the guy fought just 1 time in 2022, when he had 3 fight in 2021, and since the Joyce fight he had 5 fights in just 1 year.
Yeah he was on a "vacation" buddy, how convenient.

Also no one is his goddamn mind will accept a 40% against a 100x time lesser name. $290k. is an insult to an Ex Champion, who earned more than $10m. in just 1 of his fight. Also Parker earned $3.3m. in guaranteed against Chisora. This is just in guaranteed. So he prolly earned at least 5m.

You had to be beyond delusional to think that anyone of Parker rank would accept $290k. and 40% of Hrgovic.

Also for million time Zhang is Interim Champion of the WBO, which is better than the supposed IBF mandatory, which is not even given, as IBF may decide something else, just like with AJ.
And keep trying, but your boy is not on the card, that speaks volume who ducked who.

This from a week ago might give us a clue as to why it became Zhang:

JOSEPH PARKER has revealed a fight with Zhilei Zhang was “locked in” before the New Zealander signed on to face Deontay Wilder instead last month.

Having capped off a busy 2023 with the biggest win of his career, Parker says he would be more than happy to now revisit a meeting with the Chinese heavyweight.

“Before I signed the fight with Wilder, Zhang and I already locked in to have a fight,” Parker told Boxing News. “I already agreed terms. So, I don’t think it’s a hard fight to make. But at the moment I haven’t heard anything back. I think both teams are still working on it behind the scenes. I’ve just been busy drinking coconuts and eating mango. So, hopefully I can hear something soon.”

    https://boxingnewsonline.net/joseph-parker-is-willing-to-face-either-hrgovic-zhang-or-joyce-next/

When it was clear to Zhang that a fight with Wilder wasn't happening, the fight with Parker was easy to make since terms had already been agreed.

Where he did that? On a press conference on what? Via Twitter or via the media. And what challenge? Parker said he is going to fight on AJ - Ngannou card, and he says the supposed name.
You then say Parker team should have send offer/contract. But you are totally wrong, as Parker team ain't doing a thing. It's the Saudi that stages this fights and they are the one saying this and this will happen, and they are the one that is sending the contracts.

This is not my imagination, this is literally what Zhang manager have said.
I can give you the interview, but it's literally 1 hour long, where he was talking about it.
Zhang and WIlder was send contracts by the Saudi. As this Turki Alalshikh choose the fights he wanna see. It's not Parker, it's not Zhang, it's this guy.

And anyone thinking i'm hating on Hrgovic is mad.
My post on him can be seen. I have always said he is a strong contender. Especially back in the day. I just don't like the narrative some of his fans are pushing that everyone is ducking him, and everyone should fight him asap, when the reason no one fights is he brings nothing to the table, no money, nothing.

He's nothing like The Dosser. What the hell are you talking about? He uprooted his homeland, left his family behind, and had to adapt to a different culture over in the US spending most of his time over there alone to try and forge a career for himself. He's been calling out the big names and higher ranked guys for years and he was willing to face every single fighter in the IBF's top 15 rankings when they were offered the fight against him. He wanted anyone and everyone but people are blaming him for them for declining him. His frustration at not being able to secure these fights has been very palpable.

Why do you think he just parted ways with his promoters? Because he doesn't want the big fights and names?

He doesn't have the luxury of your boy AJ's backing. E-Hearn and co never wanted to invest in him

Anderson didn't call Hrgovic out he was just running his mouth again. Hrgovic offered to spar him twice and he went all quiet as soon as he did. Offered to spar him in his own country. Hrgovic had accepted J-Park's challenge and then J-Park signed to fight Big Bang instead.

I didn't somehow manage to miss your previous points. I'm not reading all your posts because you're writing essays and talking nonsense and I have eye problems which I have to undergo surgery on in the next few weeks. Try and keep your posts shorter please

Again, the prize for beating Hrgovic was a guaranteed title shot which brings huge financial rewards. Those are the IBF's rules and Hunter would've received the lion's share against him had he accepted the offer

As explained, I only said it was a duck because you inexplicably accused Hrgovic of ducking him when he's not the one who opted to fight someone else or who turned down a fight against him before or who lost to him in the amateurs

Yeah, he even made a special belt for them. He said the winner of AJ - Ngannou is fighting for the Undisputed against the winner of Usyk - Fury.

And i can tell you right now what Hrgovic fans will said. That AJ is ducking Hrgovic. :D

And seeing this guy makes the biggest fight in Boxing i don't doubt he will make this one too.

Then next time don't accuse other fighters of ducking, where there is zero proof of that, and when this is not the case, especially not a proven warriors like Parker.
Don't wanna hear that Hrgovoc ducks this one or that one, then don't accuse others of the same.

And you are continuing with the narrative. Parker ain't picking an easier fight, and it's not Parker choice for million time. Saudi picks the fight, not Parker or Zhang.

Stop talking this nonsense with bring nothing on the table... Jesus. If we will accept this **** boxing would be dead as sport.
He bring position, mandatory (no idea why u thinking that WBO interim is better when IBF is first to fight champion now) and also money when Saudi paid.

And stop talking about Parker never duck anyone and that's proof that he also dont duck Hrgovic. Off course he ducked him. He said nothing about injury himself (only his manager said money was not enough,) and he dont show documentation. That's why he was dropped in rating like other who said no to IBF.

And I dont care money was not enough. They can win auction and there will be more money if Joseph is such a star....

And stop this Nonsense... Hrgovic not being on the card is no proof for duck Man... How fu... brain You must have to think that this is good point and proof ...

As I said above. There is ABSOLUTLY NO REASON for Hrgovic duck Parker and dont take this fight if they give him opportunity.
There is PLENTY LOGICAL REASONS why Parker would want choose Zhang not him...

'Parker, 31, named Hrgovic and WBO interim heavyweight champion Zhilei Zhang as two fighters that he’s interested in facing on the Joshua-Ngannou card in Riyadh.'

    Hrgovic responded to that

And I never said J-Park should've sent an offer. I said he should've publicly responded to Hrgovic accepting his challenge, and within hours too.

Yes you are hating on Hrgovic,. You blamed him for J-Park opting to fight someone else not him even though him being willing to face J-Park was a huge risk to take given his position. And like I said, if he just sits around and waits AJ will like be his next opponent. Not fighting or fighting a bum doesn't help his chances of defeating AJ. Quite the opposite. Is your boy AJ not dangerous? Both AJ and J-Park are ranked above Hrgovic by The Ring

    You are sick or smth?
Saudi can choose opponent and ask about this fighter. As Wilder probably said no to Zhang also Parker can say no.
Special that first plan was mix him vs Hrgovic and Zhang vs Wilder.

He decide himself that he take Zhang fight and Filip lost chance again...

Yeah Bakole maybe ducked him before, I know a couple of times Hrgovic's team have tried to make the fight, most recently on the Saudi card with Bakole claiming an injury hence whey Hrgovic got a late replacement with De Mori.

Maybe Sanchez won't take it but maybe he will, he's not got many options and isn't expecting to be paid millions, he's far more likely an opponent than Parker or any of the other top guys.

Kabayel is another guy who is more realistic as a target for a next opponent. He's riding high after beating Makhmudov now would be a good time to fight him as people opinions of him are at a all time high. He doesn't have options and his financial demands won't be in the millions so it's a fight that could on paper be made. Rather than Hrgovic expecting someone at the top to risk fighting him for very little financial reward.

Yes fighters have ducked Hrgovic, nobody is saying otherwise, but he's not unique in that he's a heavyweight that struggles to get good opposition. There are other heavyweights in similar positions and those guys need to fight each other, good match ups lead to opportunities. Hrgovic/Zhang fight proved that, if Hrgovic can make these fights and beat guys like Sanchez, Kabayel, Ajagba etc he can make some noise and grow as an attraction. He's trying to jump right up to the marquee level guys at the top and he's simply far too much risk for too little reward for those guys to consider him. Boxing shouldn't be that way, but that's the reality and what he is currently doing isn't going to alter his situation.

Yes Parker chose Zhang but why wouldn't he do that even if the money was the same, it's the more winnable fight, at least in my opinion it is others here will disagree. If Hrgovic was offered two fights for the same money but one is easier to win, you think he chooses the harder fight? I don't think so unless the better fighter brings something else other than money to the table.

He brings nothing. AS Parker would get the exact same position, fighting Zhang for prolly 10x. time more.
Again Parker was offered what ? $290k. to fight Hrgovic for the IBF spot. Parker was injured. He took almost a whole year off.
He comeback against Joyce, and his purse was $3.2m.
You ain't going to lure Parker or that type of caliber fighter for 10x. less money. Get that into your head.
This guys are not putting their health in risk for nothing.

As far as IBF and WBO position. Sorry to bring it to you, but WBO can may very well strip the Champion as well. They are also on the line for mandatory for quite some time. And Interim is better, as if the Champ refuse, you will straight up become Champion, without a need to fight the next ranked guy.
So tell me how is not a better position h?
Also explain me again why is Hrgovic not fighting in the card, and why his last 2 opponents were de Mori and McKean ?
And you are being silly here. Why would Parker shows documentation? No one is doing this? He ain't a Champion wanting to delay a fight. He says no, i'm injured get wrecked.
What happen next is a clear example as to that he is injured. That injury is a well known way before the Hrgovic fight.
Don't act silly that he bring it just for the all mighty Hrgovic.
    Educate yourself buddy:
    https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...k-chisoras-hopes-of-receiving-a-swift-rematch
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/combat-sports/125034085/joseph-parkers-elbow-issue-returns

Why you are even arguing making yourself looks silly?
Parker has 2 injuries on his elbow back in 2018 yet.
It's a well known problems for him.

As far as the Hrgovic fight, this is what his manager have to say. As he was mentioning plenty of future fights for Parker.
"Parker explained to me that he has elbow trouble," Higgins said. "He has had two major elbow surgeries and it is an ongoing problem. They get sore.
"He wants to go to a specialist before he starts punching or doing weights again.
"He also had a badly burst eardrum. He is a bit battered.
"So we declined the eliminator and explained those points

And here is what he says about the Hrgovic problem with money:
Higgins said: "There is an economic problem with Hrgovic.
"When we built up Parker, we built a fan base in New Zealand.
"We funded, paying big money, to stage Parker vs Andy Ruiz Jr in New Zealand.
"Does Hrgovic have a home fan base anywhere?
"He has attained a high ranking but has no fan base so the money on offer is laughable for somebody like Parker.
"Also, this fight is at the back of the eliminator queue because the other belts must be sorted out.
"So Parker could fight Hrgovic for a payday that would barely cover his training costs, win, then sit out for a year waiting for his shot."

But keep trying. There is a reason Parker is fighting Wilder and Zhang back to back, to Hrgovic fighting McKean and de Mori.

And why would Parker say no ? He ducked no one. Parker already stated Saudi asked him about a couple of opponents and he says YES to everyone, including your hero Hrgovic.

Ask Saudi or Hrgovic why the fight hasn't been made. It's surely not because of Parker.
Saudi ask you, but they decide against who you will be going, or you won't be going at all.

Just like what happen to your guy Hrgovic. He was probably offered fight he rejected. Same for Wilder who rejected Zhang and is not on the card.
