As special as Kovalev was, Beterbiev would walk him down and stop him, as he would Ward.

Beterbiev is really easy to hit. Prime Kovalev would not lose that fight.

Beterbiev would knock him out. Kovalev is a level below AB…

Like I said Krusher Kovalev had quit in him. Dre took his soul! Record books and posterity shows Dre beat him twice.

Kovalev was a quitter when things got rough and had weak cardio. That jab would keep Biev away only for so long and Kovalevs infighting was shite which is a death sentence against the Biev. He gets battered and KOd mid to late.

Beterbiev beat him 25-24 in the ams. I assume adding rounds to fight wouldn't help Kovalev.

The last era of Light heavyweights that could challenge Beterbiev would be the Calzaghe (2 fights at light heavyweight) Hopkins (when he was still good) era around 2006-10 possibly including guys like Jean Pascal (a solid, 12 round fighter in his prime).
When I say Hopkins, Calzaghe, Pascal could challenge Beterviev, I am still not convinced they beat him.

Surely Beterbiev is on the top 10 list of ATG light heavyweights. The Bivol fight will answer a few more questions.

I change my mind, Beterbiev would eventually wear him down.

Simple question for you... very simple. Interested in a simple reply.

Name one other champion in boxing history that has lost his title while...

    - Landing more power punches than the challenger. Landing more overall punches in 7 of the 12 rounds.

    - Landing more total punches than the challenger, outlanding the challenger in power connects in 6 of the 12 rounds.

    - Throwing more total punches than the challenger. Throwing more in 11 of the 12 rounds.

    - Threw more power punches than the Challenger, throwing more than the challenger in 9 of the 12 rounds.

While also scoring a knockdown in the process.

    .......

Eye On the Ring has 93 scorecards archived and of them Ward won on only 28 of them, a measly 30%.

This is one of the most dubious dethronings of a champion in modern boxing.

Landed more, threw more, was the aggressor in generalship, and on top of it all he scored a knockdown... and he still lost his belts.

Oh, and of course it just so happens that the guy that won was fighting in his home country, and was the A side. No coincidence there.

It's sad seeing people choose personal biases over integrity and honor, and aligning with corruption.

Olu will never listen. His brain is wired a certain way and that can't be changed. Even after Olu got humbled and Usyk schooled aj twice he still says aj will beat Usyk in another rematch it's hilarious

Honour and integrity are reasons why one stands with Ward against the bigotry of the quitter Kovalev. Azumah Nelson never complained about fighting in another fighters land rather it motivated him to give his opponent a proper beating in front of the hostile crowd. Ward beat him twice full stop and took his soul in the process and Kovalev has and will never be the same. You feeling Kovalev should win the first fight is your own opinion which others on here share sometimes called haters of SOG. I am a firm believer the the light of God and Truth defeats the darkness of the devil and his lies. 1,000 years from now the records will remain the same Ward beat Kovalev by unanimous decision in the first fight by 1 point on every scorecard. Why did Kovalev fade down the stretch perhaps Dre after a dreadful start is a truly special fighter who worked out Kovalev draining his soul with body shots in particular.
