Hey guys! I wrote the script for this video years ago but only recently got round to actually producing it. In that time, many (likely better) Salvador Sanchez videos have been released on Youtube, but it would mean a lot if you'd check it out and give me some feedback. It's a bit of a slower paced one then my last video, so all hate is both welcomed and deserved. This content is protected
Great work KletkoNetwork. Terrific fighter. Was superb in both the Danny Lopez fights and Superfight with Wilfredo Gomez. A fight with Eusebio Pedroza would have been superb, Pedroza one of the best 15rd fighters I have ever seen, loved his inside work and the odd low blow. Personally I still think Sanchez would have come from behind to stop Eusebio over the last 3 rounds but wouldn´t have been surprised to see Pedroza taking a split decision.
Very good video, very good voice over. Looking forward to more of these. But the music was annoying and unnecessary. Might have been better had the music been of Mexican origin, not some folk singer with words in English.
Brilliant video. I actually loved the contemplative nature of it. You were actually able to separate the legendary career from the person. You should be proud of that.
Thank you for the feedback! You're absolutely correct. It's been the number one complaint with the channel. I am plagued by Gen-Z brain and must constantly have music playing in the background of everything. I'll try and find a nice instrumental and learn some more about audio-mixing!
Thanks for checking out the video. Do you think the music was a little too loud? Audio mixing is my biggest weakness at the moment.
I enjoyed it very much. The voice-over is smooth and confident, and tells details of his life I didn't know. He's humanized here, and that's nice. I don't mind the music either. The mood of it is appropriate and that's what matters.
I don’t mean to be overly critical, I want you to keep pursuing this if you enjoy it and you’ve got talent good job chief! Things I liked were the narrator, the music, the tone, vocabulary, the footage/editing IMO the presentation was top notch! A win really and nothing to be ashamed of. To me and this isn’t on you, the subject is tired these days and has that stale air of “Tragedy” and worn out dead young savant trope hanging over it and narrations like “Took to it like oxygen” (probably misquoting) we see everywhere wherever his name pops up and calling Gomez one of the greatest featherweights of all time is a bit far. I believe Sanchez already found about his limit, evidence would suggest so - I think his ranking honestly benefits from his premature death.
