I have absolutely no idea what to expect. Fury needs to be as good as he was in 2020 vs Wilder, otherwise he's losing.
He has been several times since coming back. Even against Whyte and Chisora he was in the 260's. I fancy his chances to go 10 lbs below that.
Rummy, I'm shocked. SHOCKED I say! You state that "nothing has changed" since your earlier evaluation of the fight, then you go on to say that in the interim, Usyk "dominated" Dubois, and that Fury was dropped by a "37 yr old in his first professional bout" and escaped with a split decision. What has changed is that Usyk continues to compete favorably against heavyweights, which is something that many have said he could not do, and Fury has gotten fatter, more complacent, less motivated, and more sloppy in the ring. How's that for change? Quite a bit, IMO. Usyk by decision. Unanimous Decision.
I do agree that Fury is putting in the work for Usyk, but, conversely, I think he's managed to **** Usyk off and that it's not going to work out how Fury thinks it is. See: Marco Huck.
True, but with all the BS we've had in the build up I think people are just waiting for it to fall apart, lol. We've been told so many times it's happening and it then not happen, it's kind of hard commit to the idea that it's actually happening. Better to anticipate it falling apart again and not be disappointed.
That was my first thought as well, if Joshua had trouble landing so will Fury. Who will win? Rummy made some very solid points in Fury's favor especially about breaking Usyk's rhythm , but the elephant in the room will be what kind of shape will Fury be in and when does age begin to erode Usyk? This could be a very technical boring fight, fought from the outside with little action especially if Fury can't corner Usyk. I suppose the winner will be whoever makes the other fight his fight. Only thing I'd probably bet on is this going the distance.
Here is a crazy thought Tyson Fury has never been a sparring partner for someone else. He got the opportunity to be a sparring partner for Wlad but Wlad sissied out. Wlad let Usyk spar him and probably got pieced up
I don't think anyone can intimidate Usyk or get into his head. The man is very self confident and aware of his superior skills to Fury. Fury got mad in the press conference and acted like a teen, because he knows Usyk is better than him.
