Ironically, if you go on to VADA web site you see all the fighters who have been tested by VADA If you scroll down the page you will see Liam Smith. Its says Liam Smith withdrew from VADA testing before the Canelo fight. https://vada-testing.org/2019/06/01/liam-smith/

He probably is. I won't deny that.

However, I don't go around pointing fingers and making underhand remarks and comments if there is no positive test.

Do i think Canelo ever stopped juicing? No.

    Pac was never off it.

    Froid was on it too.

GGG training all the way in those mountains where its hard for VADA to travel to is quite amusing

i could go on and on and on but unless someone pops dirty we have to assume innocent until guilty.

So does testing even worth it or does at atleast slow them down a bit? Like if they just allowed it would we see some very dangerous situations and injuries.

I personally think testing is worth it, especially in countries where they do 24/7, 365 days per year, random testing. But it's not as effective as the anti doping organisations want you to believe, it's greatest benefit is as a deterrent to athletes to stop them doping in the first place, especially as now they are keeping samples and testing them year later with more advanced tests and catching athletes now many years after they cheated and out them publicly.

I also do think it limits how much athletes dope as without it there would be no limits to how often and how much they cycle. Back in the 80's some of the East Germans had horrendous results from excessive doping from liver disease, cancer, infertility, children born with birth defects and some ended up disabled later in life because of the damage done to their bodies.

Kind of odd that the words safety and boxing would ever be used together. I guess your trying to limit the damage. So I guess testing limits usage some.

All these people excusing PEDs saying 'everyone juices', it's just a cop-out so they don't have to judge fighters.
    And it's simply not true.

Even if the majority do it, which isn't proven either, there would still be a significant sector who don't.
And within the juicing there are still levels of it.

If everyone truly did juice the testing would fall apart because they would be overloaded with failed tests, even if some escaped. There would just be so many failed tests it would make a mockery of everything.

It's not believable that everyone juices but they only catch a tiny number every year. Boxers are usually idiots, and would make mistakes far more often in their cycling/evasion and get caught all the time if everyone was on it. Only the bigger names have the smart teams handling them to avoid them messing up all the time.

It makes more sense that more of the top fighters do juice, especially the outliers, and they are better protected.

But let's take Paulie and Algieri, commenting on the HGH the other day. Do people really think these two were juicers? Paulie getting overpowered every fight and Algieri being 5'10 but getting beat up by 5'5 Pac and Provodnikov and even Khan matching him. What makes more sense, they're all on PEDs in those fights or the guys getting massively overpowered by people their size or even much smaller might be the clean ones?

Algieri has enough knowledge on PEDs and to beat the system.

I read somewhere that even Olympic shooters are tested for substances like Ambien which allows them to relax and shoot more accurately.

Every elite level athlete is looking to beat the system. Can't blame them, I would do the same.

    Yup

You have a short career and the money isn't that great unless you are a big timer so everyone wants to take a short cut
