Bakhodir Jalolov vs. Joseph Parker

You'd think Jalolov has a significantly higher ceiling given his size, stance, power, amateur pedigree etc. Parker is a gatekeeper type.

 

While I do think Jalolov has the skills to out box Parker from range, right now we don't even know if Jalolov an even do 10 rounds let alone 12 rounds without gassing. He's so untested right now it's hard to favour him over a proven quantity like Parker.

The pro game is very different to the amateur game, even a great amateur like Loma learned that the hard way vs Salido, so while Jalolov might have the potential to be a better fighter I don't think he's there yet, he needs far more many rounds with better opposition before I'd pick him over any of the top heavies now.

 

Parker has a win against the debatable Wilder, and a debatable win against Andy Ruiz Jr.
Jalolov wins.

 

If I had to guess if they fought tomorrow I would say Jalolov as he seems very strong technically, mentally and physically. Could see him knocking Parker out late.

Then again, its hard to judge Jalolov as he is so untested in the professional ranks which is almost a completely different sport to the amateurs.

 

Hard to believe Jalolov has been a pro since 2018 and hasn't had his metal dinged once. Hard to judge what he has, if anything.

 

Jalolov is still fighting as an amateur, going to the Olympic games in July. The people saying he beats Parker are the same people who thought Makhmudov was the next coming of Iron Mike, you all jumped off that train quick enough. Parker by any way he likes until Jalolov fights someone worthy.

 

I'm saying Jalolov looks to be the real deal and have always maintained that Mak was trash. Let's not lump these two together.

 

Jalolov has a win against Sokolowski and Curtis Harper. Too early to say.

 

And what wins does Jalolov have?

 

Jalolov might be another hype job like Makh. We don't know until he's up against a live body.

 

TBF, Low Blow Salido threw exclusively to the bollocks with the ref checking out the ring card girls and came in 85lbs overweight.

 

Parkers a legit contender.

Jalolov hasn't even fought his first gatekeeper. Maybe not even his first journeyman.

You just can't sensibly back the far, far less proven guy, this should be a mismatch.

 

This s thread is so stupid. Parker has proven his form and this joker has not even fought a top 100 fighter yet some idiots have just jumped from the Joyce hype train, to the big russian mak hype train, now onto this guy. Amazing they don’t have train sickness.
