Given how prominent they are, I was wondering if it's actually Goldstar with the contract and Warren is just their current preferred promoter...

 

I get there's a contract but why shouldn't boxers be allowed to discuss potentially their next move? I don't agree with what Buatsi and okolie did but a boxer who is under contract and has a few fights left, should be allowed to explore his options even whilst having a few fights left.

 

Wasn’t about discussing it was about them actually signing and thus in breach of their contract.

 

Crazy and plain stupidity from all parties involved if that happened. Matchroom should take them to the cleaners.

 

imo it looks like boxxer is scapegoat because Mazhar Majeed is connected with all of them as his firm with Adam Morallee (whose law firm @Brandsmiths represented Daniel Kinahan) & Sam Jones.

 

hardly a scapegoat giving bags of cash to a business that is a lettings/real estate agent for boxing related reasons.

Directly or indirectly, yes. Nobody disputes that certain managers and trainers had connections to MTK and therefore Kinahan; those same managers and trainers had fighters on shows of most main promoters. So whether they can say they dealt directly with Kinahan or not, they all accepted his involvement one way or another.

 

Everyone on the high horse, kinahan and MTK were involved with every promoter all round the world. Sam Jones is a tit and was vocal on kinahan , the rest dealt with him , made money but kept quiet .
Even sky sports worked with him ffs.
