Canelo vs Jermall on May 4th

Oh geez.. Another terrible Decision from Canelo Alvarez.

 

This was the original fight that was suppose to happen first on the PBC contract.
Benavidez will be in September.

This is why the boxing media needs to get off gingers nut sack.

 

It's bad enough he's had the most B.S. scorecards in boxing history in his favor. Now he's gonna bore us by beating up has-beens? He needs to do the sport a favor and retire.

 

I really dont like this fight. I have expected that Canelo would fight Benavidez as the last fight on his contract with PBC so I still expect the fight in September. Benavidez has certainly rose his profile with wins over Plant and Andrade thus making the Canelo fight even more interesting. The problem, Canelo is not facing top contenders . I could understand if Canelo said Andrade needs to go out and beat somebody but in the meantime was fighting a higher profile fighter who brings $ and is a p4p type of opponent. Charlo does not deserve this fight, has not earned this fight, and is not a threat whatsoever in the ring

If Canelo does not fight Benavidez in his September fight that is a huge blemish on his record. I understand legends and champions going out on their own terms but that would be holding the belts hostage and getting special treatment by the orgs

 

You really believe that?

 

Jermall is undefeated 33-0, although he received a couple of gift decisions along the way.

This is not a bad fight at all.

To beat both brothers, long-time titleholders, will be a significant achievement for Alvarez if he can do it.

Between him & Floyd they've conned the fans out of $$$millions over the last years When was the last time either fought a legitimate worthy contender in a 100% fair straight down the middle contest?? An honest contest with non biased officiating? I'm racking my brains out trying to remember one. How much longer are you Canelo worshippers going to support such a blatant con man. C'mon PimpC Olu drenlou, Ellerbe Shadow etc Don't hide, defend your heroes .Speak up prove to us theyre not con artists ? You cannot can you , you know its the truth & you still keep buying the garbage. The casuals who believe all the BS they claim & DKSAB maybe I can understand but you guys who profess to be boxing addicts are helping to destroy the sport you claim to love.

This is partly the fault of his nuthugging fans who help him believe he's already some Mexican ATG. There's a sense that he's just resting on his laurels now, but his achievements (which are impressive, don't get my wrong) aren't as glorious as he'd have you believe. I've gone from hating him to respecting him to finding him a little disappointing.

 

Both Charlo's are shot, even PimpC, on of their greatest fan, hasn't posted a word in trying to defend them
You still have Olu posting Mel is the man @ 154 till he gets beaten ROFL He didn't look much like a man against Bud Crawford did he? Mall will be even worse if that unbelievable Canelo fight happens

It would have been a somewhat more interesting cherry pick fight had it took place last year instead of Jermell. Another Canelo vs Charlo fight is already more than enough. Canelo's just cashing out and not even caring at this point. This is a shameful fight to be made now.

Here's hoping that we'll see Canelo vs Benavidez bout to take place eventually.

 

Or Andrade after he gets a few easy wins on big cards.
