Same. If he dismatles Bivol, Roy should not be favored over him. Bivol is probably more durable overall than Roy was even though he isn't quite as gifted.

    Nobody whoops Beterbiev, ever.

At least not at 175 lbs.

    But,

I think Roy outpoints him over 12.

There's always the chance that Artur catches Roy with a big shot somewhere along the way, and that could change things drastically.

Regarding your choice of which version of Roy, I'm not sure that I'd pick the Griffin 2 version.
In that fight he was a man on a mission. He was determined to KO Griffin, and do it early.
And he did it in spectacular fashion.

However, I would advise against going after Beterbiev that same way. Too dangerous, and not necessary.

I would pick the Roy with the physical attributes of the Griffin 2 fight, but I would advise him to stay calm and use the same gameplan he used against John Ruiz.

If he follows that advice, I think he gets a decision in the 8-4 to 10-2 range.

By 'not quite', you mean not in the same stratosphere, right? LOL.

I see Jones winning this one by unanimous decision, I think Roy would give him a boxing lesson and win pretty much every round with phenomenal speed and reflexes.

Beterbiev is more interested in the HGH and testosterone, because he likes natural supplements. Roy just prefers the classic roids.

In the end, Roy is going to get KO'd for the simple reason that Beterbiev can take a roided MW's punches much better than Roy can take a HGH'd LHW's punches.

The more even matchup is probably Canelo versus Roy, two PED abusers who are around the same size and like their slick moves, though Roy is a little bigger. Will Canelo's fancy moves work against Roy's speed? Will Roy's chin handle Canelo's punch? Will Canelo's chin handle Roy's punch?

I reserve that judgement for after his fight with Beterbiev.

Bivol could win and he still wouldn't be anywhere near as physically gifted as RJJ. What are you smoking?

Which is what I aready said. If he is able to keep beterbiev's pressure off him for 12 rounds, it clearly suggests Bivol is highly gifted himself. Idk why you gotta act like a child and only see this in extremes. Roy is the most gifted in the sport, but that doesn't make everyone else chumps.

 Glass Jaw Roy gets brutally KOed he wouldn’t be able to keep Beterbiev away for 12 rounds. Jones had no Chin. None.
