Mayweather used peds to beat Pac and a few other fighters, your right let’s not mention him in the same sentence as Pac. Mayweather is the next Lance Armstrong ! https://www.sbnation.com/longform/2015/9/9/9271811/can-boxing-trust-usada
Maybe by his Filipino fans on social media comment sections but I think the general public, casual fans and die hard boxing fans tend to rate him properly My only negatives for Pacquiao 135 he sought out the weak link title holder David Diaz and did not face the real best champions of the loaded division his 154 lb title is bogus, catch weight fight vs a guy who really wasnt a top fighter at 154 I didnt like his catch weight vs Cotto either but he did wind up winning legitimate titles at 147 without the catch weight and defended at the limit In the event of not sounding like a Mayweather fan boy here are my main gripes with Floyd Facing Alvarez at 152 after having fought multiple title fights at the full limit Fighter Berto for 49 when guys like Porter and Thurman were around To me Pacquiao is a solid ATG, I don't have an ATG list of my own so I cannot tell you exactly where I rate him but the accomplishments stand for themselves as far as lineal and ring titles, weight classes climbed, legends beaten, exciting fights and performances. He also for the most part carried himself with dignity and sportsmanship and was a great ambassador for the sport and his countrymen
LOL PAC fans talking about peds is the greatest irony on earth . Guys head is bigger than Barry Bonds and nothing out of your mouth troll He’s been the biggest juicer his entire career it is all smokes and mirrors
Whether you're a Filipino King like Manny, a Ukrainian King like Loma and Usyk, a Nicaraguan King like Chocolate Tito, a Kazakhstani King like GGG, or a Japanese King like Inoue you will never be worthy of sitting atop of that P4P throne or be given your flowers by the hordes of North American boxing worshipers around the world. They're just loathe to see a deep brother from the Philippines, Ukraine, Nicaragua, Kazakhstan, Japan and even more so a deep British brother reach the pinnacle of the sport. If you ain't from around here you just don't belong round here. That's just the way it is. You don't have the right look. The right face. The right passport. The membership to that exclusive club. And that crown, that throne, that kingdom can never be yours. Being a Brit I know what it feels to be an outsider and to feel like you don't belong. I been dealing with this poop my whole life. Every goddamn day But regardless if you feel Manny is overrated, rated accordingly, or underrated one thing I think we can all agree on is his mother, the delectable Dionesia Dapidran-Pacquiao, is a right tasty bit of crumpet This content is protected
People have to realize boxing scoring is very subjective. They were very close fights and Manny got the decision. That's just the way the sport works and we can argue about every close fight in the history of boxing. The only person who was robbed on the scorecards is Pacquiao because a judge forgot to score a knockdown for him in the first fight. That is not subjective argument based on judging a fight it is literally a math error. So we all know Manny won the first fight because it is not a subjective argument about who won which round it is an adding error. Manny should be 3-1 with the lone loss coming on a fluke punch from a Marquez who was so pumped full of PEDs he could have been a lab experiment. They will be studying this guy PED usage in medical school years from now. Marquez was scared to rematch Manny (even after Manny gave him 3 rematches) cause he knew it was a fluke and he about to be KOed. If anything Manny should be lauded for giving a fighter who was a terrible stylistic matchup for him 3 rematches.
