I think Bakole makes him quit in the second half of the fight. Martin and his team may be full of it when it comes to sparring stories but he’s a legit threat in the division and I think he would break down Dubois.
This is a fight in which the majority would give Bakole an advantage, but if Dubois won, I would not be surprised, but if I had to choose, I would say Bakole on points...
Bakole is the more proven fighter so you have to favour him but think it could be an entertaining fight as both are big men who hit hard and who are best when pressuring. Only concern I have is what shape Bakole is in. He was 299lbs when he last fought against Takam. He can get away with that vs an old gatekeeper, would be dangerous to show up out of shape in a fight against Dubois. He has a bad enough gas tank as it is without him coming in 20-30lbs above his best weight. He could lose it simply from gassing, if he doesn't put Dubois away early.
Bakole has a bad habit of covering up/shell up when being barraged by punches. Also Bakole isn’t the most disciplined. Dubois wins by KO round 9.
I think Dubois takes this. Neither of them have beaten anyone special, but DD's been in with the much better fighters.
Yes because Dubois has better wins than Bakole Who has this guy even beaten. Nothing suggests he's any better than Bakole. Is it just me or is Dubois becoming overrated for no reason. Is it his exciting style that's fooling people ? Guys a stiff as a lamppost
