Why does no one ever ask this question about other divisions?

    Why only HW?

Best mini-flyweight to never win a world title?

Best featherweight to never win a world title?

Best super-bantamweight to never win a world title?

Because fans, including the hardcores, and the rose-tinted google wearing boxing nostalgist hipsters who let's be honest many of whom are kind of creepy and who knows what they get up to in their spare time, only care about man-sized divisions and in particular the sport's glamour division the HW division. A division we Brits along with deep Soviet brother/honorary Brit Usyk have annexed and ruled with an iron fist for years.

Ibeabuchi in a H2H sense. A 240lb muscle roid freak chucking 80 a round with good technique and power. That’s as menacing as it gets.

Because some people just like big men and we shouldn't judge them for it.

I am a heavyweight fan I won’t lie about that, I generally prefer boxing at 135 and upwards.

That's fair enough. I mainly pay attention to anything from 126 up but if there is an intriguing fighter who captures my attention or an intriguing fight from below 126 I'll gladly follow them or watch it.

I do enjoy watching the big boys up at HW but I derive as much enjoyment from seeing fighters from the tiny majestic isle of Great Britain and deep Soviet Brother Usyk who is an honorary Brit dominate the sport's glamour division.

@Rumsfeld You mentioned Golota's name and I agree. Curious: The idea of Golota one day earning induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. I know this seems unlikely to many, but just like for anything, I'm there's a case that could be made by someone out there for Golota earning induction into the Hall. If you had to make an argument for why Golota may one day merit induction, what would your argument be?

I'd throw Larry Donald's name in the hat.

Golota’s case would have been so much stronger if he hadn’t utterly blown it against Bowe.
