Bruh, I have actually been in this Uke's training camp. His own nutritionist, Azamat Bagatov, told me that he insisted on a diet of scrambled eggs and mixed berries between training camps to control his weight, but when he came in to camp heavy, and they asked him why...? He said that he had been "forced" to eat cinnamon and sugar Pop-Tarts from the American convenience foods section of the local grocery store, which are just loaded with sugar and empty carbs and he ate several to get sated. Every morning this was going on. WHY though, they asked. Did they somehow run out of eggs where you were from, they wanted to know. NO. It was because he was literally incapable of cracking the eggshells enough to get the eggs out! I guess he tried with a hammer, but the egg went all over the place and was ruined. This happened with multiple other household kitchen objects and tools. A pipe wrench was one thing that was used. I can't remember all the others but does it even matter?
If Loma cut as much as Haney does he might actually make 122 lbs and could face Inoue there. Would be a great fight. But I'm pretty sure that the same people that call Haney a weight bully would claim that Loma would be drained to death even at 126 lbs.
Prime for Prime at 130 Loma would embarrass Inoue. Loma is an absolutely horrible matchup for good fundamental boxers
Rigo Walters GRJ Loma started having close fights after he moved up 2 weight above his natural weight, Loma rehydrated to 140 lbs at 135lb, while people like Haney or Teofimo got to 150-153lbs
37 year old Rigo fightiing at 130lbs wasn't elite. Nor were GRJ and Walters. Stop it, man. He lost 8-4 or 9-3 vs a green Teo, and "won" 7-5 against a green Haney. He should've been able to handle both easily, but he couldn't.
Even at 126, Loma schools him. Loma is by far the best of this generation, but dodgy decisions, noone willing to fight him, having to fight 2 weight classes above his maximum based on his size, and the absolute hatred from LDBC, make the perception of Loma's capability lower than it should be.
Calling Devin Haney a natural 147'er is goofy, however back to the original question: yes Loma would dominate Inoue, maybe even stop him. I don't like pitting guys against each other that are 3 weight classes apart...........silly speculation.
I imagine Haney was around 165lbs, which he weighed in at for 140lbs. He had an extended weigh in against Loma (72 hours) - clearly this was given to him for a specific reason (to give him all the advantages), yet he still lost to the old smaller man. Teofimo looked bigger than 150lbs tbh
So why the **** do so many people compliment Inoue for beating Donaire twice? The guy who Rigondeaux absolutely demolished, and that was prime Donaire, the same Rigo got embarrassed by Loma later
