I’ve been thinking about Joshua’s contest against Ngannou, 250 pounds is an ideal weight.

Heavy enough to handle Ngannou in the clinch, light enough to box and move, fight on the inside if need be.

    Comfortable UD for Joshua.

Joshua cannot handle Ngannou in the clinch lol. He couldn't even handle Usyk, Ngannou will throw him around like he's a toddler.

Joshua should just come in his normal weight, get on his bike and jab. Ruiz 2 is the blueprint for a comfortable (and boring) 12 round shutout

Modern boxers won't handle clinches against MMA folks, no matter their size. Inside game is dead.

It would be moronic to try to handle a mixed martial artist in a clench when they're far more advanced as clench and grapplers. Joshua should be able to outbox and snipe him with ease............Don't even try to go inside.

He should be a little lighter imo. Being in the clinch with Ngannou is bad news for any boxer. Stay away from him and pick him apart with jabs and straights, that should be the plan.

Bare in mind I’m not saying he’ll overpower Ngannou in the clinch, 250 pounds should be enough to hold his own and not get overpowered himself.

Shorter boxers like Usyk have the subtle advantage of digging their heels in and pushing up and against, this shouldn’t be a factor with Ngannou as they’re roughly the same height.

As other already stated i,m sure its a pretty bad idea for joshua to enter the infight and try to clinch and wrestle such a weak midget like ngannou ...

250 British Pounds for a fight against a 0-1 fighter sounds about right indeed.

Too much, I think. Unless you are talking bout AJ'S salary for this bout.

Eventually he’s going to get leaned on by Ngannou, getting outweighed by 25-30 pounds is probably too much. At 250, 10-15 pounds is manageable.

250 is also light enough to dance around the stamina burning behemoth.

Imagine if he got outboxed and dropped twice (ref deems one a slip, naturally) by a UFC fighter only to rob them on the scorecards…

That’d be hilariously embarrassing, wouldn’t it?
