IMO, Bivol is better than Gvozdyk.

Very hard fight to predict for me. A clear UD for Bivol wouldn't surprise me super much, but neither would Beterbiev winning by stoppage or KO or decision for that matter.

Before the Callum Smith fight I would probably have picked Bivol because Beterbiev looked vulnerable against Yarde, but he looked much sharper against Smith and will probably be even more on his game for Bivol and undisputed, so really a toss up right now. The only thing that would schock me would be if Bivol won by KO (a stoppage on cuts is in the realm of possibility, though).

I think Bivol's speed is comparable to RJJ at 175. Jones hits harder; Bivol flurries better.

Time for Beterbiev to cement his All-Time-Great H2H status at Light Heavyweight given how deeply stacked this division is, it' s unlikely Beterbiev will hit top 15 but H2H he would be a nightmare match up, think of Pretty Boy Floyd and Saddler being H2H monsters at 130lbs despite them both not having that stellar resume like JCC, Arguello and Azumah Nelson for example.

I'll go for Beterbiev TKO R9.

By the time this fight happens I think age will impact Beterbiev and Bivol may take this on points.

If he beats Bivol clearly, how is he that much behind Spinks who is regularly seen as a top 3 ATG at the weight?

If Bivol is on his bike he won't be able to manufacture any offence. When he jabs or engages Arthur is going to touch him. Beterbiev will chase him for 12 rounds and get a clear decision as the aggressor, or he will catch up with him and stop him.

I feel like the logical pick here is Beterbiev. Bivol wins fights through outclassing people for 12, whereas Beterbiev wins fights through gradually breaking them down. This basically plays into Beterbiev's gameplan. This is not up for debate. Beterbiev also isn't some Deontay Wilder-like character who has to pull every fight out of the bag, he's a skilled fighter and a decorated amateur. Bivol could break Beterbiev's KO streak, but with Beterbiev still winning a UD through KDs or something. Artur has also had more challenging fights recently against genuine contenders, whereas Bivol has picked off past-its, can-crushers, continental-levels and small guys basically his whole professional career

    All of that said...

I still think Bivol wins. He looked incredible against Zurdo. It's one of those picks that flies in the face of the evidence
