Jaime Munguia vs John Ryder prediction thread.....

I thought about it - he does have heart & by definition a chance against Jaime
But he was abused & ran through the gauntlet
in the Canelo fight (among others)
I’d bet he survives that’s about it though.

no way he wins a decision.
& his chances on him KOing Jaime I’d say 25% tops.

 

Supporting Ryder in this one, he a London boy like myself and he always turns up to fight. He can beat Munguia. He earned that Gorilla nick name.

 

I think it depends how much the Canelo fight took out of Ryder; Ryder has been in with the better opposition (Saunders, Smith, Jacobs and Canelo) and has not been stopped by any of them, so I don't see Munguia getting the stoppage. If Ryder is on form then I think he will apply intelligent pressure and do enough to win, although winning on the cards is a different matter.

As predicted by Sonny1 along with a few others. Some shockers on here again by people who think they know boxing, which clearly they don’t. Ryder had no chance.

A good win from Munguia but I don’t see anything to suggest he can beat the likes of Benavidez and Canelo. He’s got good output and youth on his size. I still think he leaves himself wide open when he goes on the offensive and someone like Canelo would counter him badly imo.
