Good fight. Ryder is a tough old boy. Went out on his shield tonight, doesn't have anything to be ashamed about. Great showing by Munguia, still some things to be worked on but he did damn good getting Ryder down so much and out of there.

Beatdown just as predicted. I had it Munguia stopping Ryder in the 8th. Pretty close.

Credit to Ryder though he was tough.

Super impressed with Munguia. He's the first to (legitimately) stop Ryder, who IMO should have at least been a former world champion. I was kind of cringing at the prospect of a Canelo fight, but after that? Bring it on.

I give Ryder all the credit in the world for at least attempting to win and not giving up.

No controversy. Just an old-fashioned beatdown. Munguia > Smith? lol

Are you kidding me? Canelo still decapitates this goofy looking clown. They were hoping on Ryder not having much left, they bet correctly.

Ryder would’ve made the distance but get why corner threw it in. Canelo smokes Munguia

Munguia's defense did look better. But it's most likely that Ryder is just not that good.

Look at Mung celebrating like he just done something special. Ryder is clearly shot to bits. His punch resistance has completely deserted him all he has left is that huge heart of his. They knew what they were doing after all the punishment Ryder took against Clenelo just like they did when they cherrypicked the shell of Dev after he'd been involved in almost half a dozen brutal 12 round wars going into the fight.

Feed him to some young hungry fresh SMWs like Benavidez and Morrell and Mung will be getting stretched out on his back. Clenelo will iron him out too

Oh, he absolutely blasts him into next week, but it will be fun while it happens.

Surprised by Mungia, thought these would go distance like The Sergy fight and maybe outpointed. But from get go seemed like he could hurt Ryder with anything.

Him vs anyone at 168 should be fun

Do you think he beats Canelo?
